	McKee, John C grave	single grave	1.5 miles west of Marble ~  JOHN C. MCKEE WAS A MINER/PROSPECTOR. HE CAME WEST FROM OHIO. HE BECAME ILL AND HIS FRIENDS ATTEMPTED TO GET HIM TO A DOCTOR. HE DIED ALONG THE WAY AND HIS FRIENDS BURIED HIM 1.5 MILES FROM MARBLE. THIS IS THE MARKER ALONG THE ROAD WHICH MARKS THE LOCATION OF HIS BURIAL. Mr. McKee was from Crawford Co Annapolis, Ohio (now Sulphur Springs) He and a Cornelius Borland built the second tavern of the town "on the lot occupied by Fry's store" Source: History of Sulphur Springs Ohio 1933.
