In 1881, Samuel is 42, George 15, Frank 13, Mary 11, Hiram 9, Creighton 7, and Henry 5.
Samuel claimed a quarter in section 24, 7N 54W in 1895.

May 12, 1899 Victor, Colorado "William Frame, who met his death in the Portland mine last Wednesday, will be buried in this city by the Masonic order, of which he was a member. The funeral will be conducted from the undertaking parlors of Dunn & Co., Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, and Rev. L. E. McNair will preach the funeral sermon. Samuel Moore is a cousin of the deceased and he has other relatives in this state."

June 1899 Victor "Alex Frame, brother of the late William F. Frame, is in Victor, the guest of his cousin, Samuel Moore. Mr. Frame lives in Denison, Texas, and is greatly impressed with the life and bustle of this district. "

In 1900 Victor, Samuel Moore 61, married 14 years to Maggie Moore 50 Wife, both born in Canada, and August Petterson 25 Lodger.

Also in 1900 Victor, Hary 24 and Hiram 28, both gold miners born in Canada, are lodging with John and Dollie Jewell.

The next household is James and Cora Grady.

February 1900 Victor "Mr. Tom Moore returned last week from Sterling, Colorado. He will stay only a few weeks here and will then return to Sterling to remain permanently. "

June 1900 Victor "Mrs. Samuel Moore and daughter, Mrs. J. L. Grady, leave this week for Nova Scotia for an extended visit. Mr. Moore will go on a short trip to his ranch in Logan county."

This must have been Mrs. J. L. GRATER, Maud, duaghter of Samuel.

The James GRADY family was next to Samuel in the 1900 census.

June 1900 " Samuel Moore, father of the Moore boys of Atwood, returned to Victor this morning after a couple weeks visit with his sons. Mr. Moore, sr., has considerable mining property at Victor. He came down principally to attend the wedding of his son, O. H., to Miss Alverda Jeffries."

December 1908 "Mr. Samuel Moore, of Victor, this state, but formerly of this place, has sold his 120 acres about 2 miles west of here to the Colorado Colony Co., for the sum of $5,900. This is the cheapest place sold, and a good chance for the buyer to make some money."

In 1920 Victor "Thomas" Moore is 80, immigrating in1878, naturalized, Maggid 70, naturalized, and Frank 5 born in Pennsylvania.

Jacob L. Grater and Maud Wright married on December 12, 1893 in Logan County, Colorado.

February 1900 Sterling "Mrs. J. L. Grater of Victor left for home this morning after a two-weeks visit with W. C. Grater and family. "


August 1916 Sterling " Jake Grater, son of the late W. S. Grater, arrived in Atwood this morning. He came from Victor, Colo., with his family in a car to attend his father’s funeral."

1923 Sterling "Mesdames J. L. Grater and Mrs. Moore of Victor, Colo., are guests at the W. C. Grater home."

1924 "Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Grater and family, Mrs. Jake Grater of Victor, Colo., were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Spotts Sunday. "

Pueblo Chieftain - September 04, 2005 "Milton A. Duffy, 87, passed away Aug. 30, 2005, a resident of University Park Care Center for the past two years. Preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mary Duffy; his first wife, Avis Duffy; second wife, Olive Duffy, and stepson, William Dale Duffy. Milton served in the U.S. Army during WWII, 1942-1945 and at Guadalcanal. He also retired as a baker from the Colorado State Hospital in 1979. Member of Adriance United Methodist Church, Royal Arch and Silver State No. 95 Masonic Lodges; Fidelity Chapter No. 144 OES; VFW No. 3641; D.A.V. Chapter 2; and was a former board member of the State Hospital Credit Union. The Victor Record says: "Miss Grace Sauer was hostess at a luncheon given by her Wednesday at the home of Mr and Mrs. O. O. Butler in Victor. The guests were Miss Ola McDonough of Canon City, and cousins Ray Sauer of Sylvia, Kan., and George Marsh of Holly, Colo."

In 1900 Logan County, Frank Moore, born December 1867 and Creighton August 1863, (age 26?) both born in Canada, immigrating in 1887, are farming.

Frank was in Victor in 1920 with parents, and in 1930 in Margaret, and alone in 1940.

CREIGHTON

June 1900 " Samuel Moore, father of the Moore boys of Atwood, returned to Victor this morning after a couple weeks visit with his sons. Mr. Moore, sr., has considerable mining property at Victor. He came down principally to attend the wedding of his son, O. H., to Miss Alverda Jeffries."

Creighton was killed in a Victor mining accident in 1914.
