The next household is James and Cora Grady.

June 1900 Victor "Mrs. Samuel Moore and daughter, Mrs. J. L. Grady, leave this week for Nova Scotia for an extended visit. Mr. Moore will go on a short trip to his ranch in Logan county."

BUT it is more likely that this is Maud, Mrs. J. L. GRATER, daughter of Samuel Moore.
In 1870 Placerville, California, George Ranny is 42, Matilda Ranny 33, Mary A. Ranny 12, Cora J. Ranny 8, Agnes M. Ranny 5, and Esther L. Ranny 3.

March 1900 "James H. Grady, whom the people will elect as their next aiderman from the first ward, is a Yankee of the Vermont brand. He was born in 1853, and reared at St. Johnesburg, Vt. He served his apprenticeship in the machine shops of that town, and then started west. He settled in Virginia City, Nevada, in 1873, and remained there until 1882, with the exception of a short time spent in Bodie county, California.
In 1882 Mr. Grady came to Park county, Colorado, where he was engaged as engineer on the London mine. In 1895 he came to Victor, where he has resided ever since. He owns the Nevada house, on North Third street, where he now lives with his family. When he first came to Victor, Mr. Grady worked on the Anna Lee for the Portland company. He was engaged as engineer on the John A. Logan mine last summer, and is working there at the present time. Mr. Grady is a member of the Engineers’ union, and is well known all over the camp as a conscientious, industrious laboring man. All labor organizations will support him, to a man. The people of the first ward could not find a better man to represent them in the city council."

In 1900 Victor, James Grady 47, born in Canada, naturalized, is a stationary engineer, Cora I. Grady 38 Wife, Lanson Grady 18 Son, Bert J. Grady 15 Son, Herbet J. Renshaw 33 Lodger, and Alexander Buzzard 43 Lodger.
