and Dora B. newborn. Jane Butler is 82.
In 1900 Gage County, Nebraska, C. H. is widowed, 66, Eva 27, Mary 24, Albert 22, Lizzie 18, and Dora 16.
Dora married William Wolverton, and they also lived in Flagler.
Eva married John Vieths, and they also lived in Flagler.

MARY
Mary L. Butler and Ernest M. Owen married in Kit Carson County on September 10, 1913.
Mary L. Butler claimed a quarter in section 5, 7S 50W in 1914.
In 1920 Mary is with Ernest M. Owen, 49, farming. They have Syroun A. 5 and Bessie E. 1.
In 1930 Ernest 60 and Mary L. 54 are in Ordway, Crowley County, Colorado, with Syroun 15 and Bessie 12.
In 1940 Crowley County, Mary is widowed, 64, with Syron 25. Bessie Christian 22, married to Champ C. Christian 26 born in Arkansas. Donald Christian is ten months old.
Mary I. Owen 1875-1955 is buried in Ordway # 30924085, with Ernest M. 1869-1937 # 30923944.
Bessie Owen, of Ordway, Colorado, married Champ C. Christian of Supply Arkansas on January 31, 1939.
Bessie, born at Flagler February 19, 1918 died as Bessie Christian July 25, 2007.
She's buried in Ordway # 31563010, with Champ C. 1913-1992.
Syroun A. Owen 1914-1974 is buried in Nashville National # 3197624, with Grace (Carnell) Owen 1914-1989.

"Services for Syroun Albert Owen, 60, of 4812 Jeffrey Drive, a salesman for
Tennessee Machinery Co., will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow at Woodlawn Funeral Home.
The Rev. Earl Goodwin will officiate. Burial will be in National Cemetery here.
Owen died Wednesday afternoon in at Baptist Hospital after a heart attack.
Born in Flagler, Colorado, he was a son of Ernest and Mary Butler Owen.
He attended public schools in Colorado and served with the U.S. Army during
World War II.
Owen married the former Grace Puckett in 1941.
She survives. After leaving the service, he moved to Nashville and began working
at Tennessee Machinery Co. in 1950. Owen was a charter member of Glenwood
Baptist Church. He was also a member of VFW Post 1291, past grand commander
of the Tennessee Military Order of the Cooties and past sixth district commander
of the VFW in Tennessee.
Other survivors, in addition to his widow, include a son,
Michael W. Owen, Providence, R.I.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Shirley Carver,
Nashville; a stepson, George Fitzgerald, Nashville; a sister,
Mrs. Bess Christian, LaJunta, Colo.; six grandchildren and a great-grandchild."

Clara (Pettey) Butler claimed two quarters in sections 29 and 32, 7S 50W in 1914.
Clara M. Petty is in Washington County, Kansas in 1900, born October 1887 in Kansas. Alfred Petty Feb 1858 in Missouri is farming, married 18 years to Eva Sept 1864 Michigan. Jessie A. 17, Loisa A. 14, Clar M. 12, Cora L. 10, Francis M. 5, and Vera M. 1.
Clara M. "Pettey" and Albert F. Butler married in Kit Carson County on February 11, 1913.
Albert is in Phillips County, Kansas in 1920, 41, farming, married to Clara M. 32 born in Kansas. Orville is 5, born in Colorado, Wilber 1 and Jesse one month born in Kansas.

In 1940 they're in Los Angeles, California, Albert 61 a carpenter,
Clara 52, Orville 26, Wilbur 21, Jessie 20, and Albert 16.
Albert Fredrick Butler, born April 30, 1878 near Clarinda, Iowa
to Chatfield H. Butler and Elizabeth Annon, died May 26, 1949 in Wilder,
Canyon County, Iowa.
They're buried in Wilder - Albert 1878-1949 # 81015985, and
Clara Marrietta (Pettey) Butler 1887-1979 # 81016031.
Wilbur Chatfield Petty was born April 12, 1918 at Philipsburg, Kansas to Albert F. Butler and Clara M. Petty.
Jesse William Butler, born September 14, 1919 in Kanss, died in Los Angeles County March 18, 1996.
Albert Butler 1923-2009 is buried in Boise, Idaho # 44678989.
