John H. 15 and Clara 11 were born in Illinois, Mary L. 7 and Hiram C. 3 in Kansas.

Margurette died on August 27, 1908, per one tree, and then he married Nancy Root on August 1911.

"During the past week a number of children and relatives of H. Wolverton
have been visiting with him. Mr. Wolverton has been very ill and they wished to be
with him for a time. Those who were here were: John Wolverton, of Crawford, Nebraska;
Ernest and Warren "Jake" Wolverton, of Flagler, Colorado; Mrs. Charles Fitzgerald,
of Washington state; Clara and Frank Noah and Bertha Turner, of Palco, Kansas;
and Mrs. Elsie Greer, of San Francisco, California."
Hiram died, age 80, on November 13, 1920, buried in New Hope Cemetery, Beloit.
Mary E. Dec 1872, Hiram C. August 1877, William W. January 1881, Frank E. July 1884, and Bertha J. August 1886 were all born in Kansas.
FRANK
Frank Ernest Wolverton was born July 23, 1884 at Beloit, marrying Laura Ann Petty in Goodland, Kansas. He lived in Flager and died November 2, 1950 in Sacramento County, California.
They're farming in Kit Carson County in 1910, both 25, with Myron E. 1.
In October 1911 the Kit Carson County commissioners paid H.C. Wolverton $7 for labor on roads.
Frank claimed a quarter in section 6, 9S 50W in 1913.

"David Oaks, 76, of Jackson, CA, went to be with the Lord Friday,
December 30th, 2011 in Jackson. David was born in Huntington Park, CA on December 3, 1935, a son of the late Vida Laura (Wolverton) and Harley David Oaks. He grew up in the Galt area, graduating from Galt High School and continuing his education at Bethany Bible College in Scotts Valley. It was during High School when David met the love of his life, Glenna Coker at the Bethel Temple Church in Galt, they were married June 16, 1956.
David and Glenna spent many years vacationing with their daughters in Amador County. In 1974 they decided to make Jackson their permanent residence. David transferred to the Pacific Bell office in Jackson where he would continue to work as a Splicer until retiring after 29 years, 9 months and 27 days of service.
David was a spiritual man who believed when given two choices you make the one that is right, he had a servant's heart and was a selfless man. He did not do "great" things but he did many things with great love.
He was a former chaplain of the Christian Motorcyclist Association (CMA), a motorcycle enthusiast, and an avid rock hound.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Glenna; daughters, Karen, and her husband, Ray West, of Stockton; Glenda, and her husband, LeRoy Rowe, of Volcano; grandchildren, Melanie, Tina, Katie, Jesse, 5 great grandchildren and many extended family members."
Myron Ernest Wolverton, born January 10, 1909 in Colorado, mother Petty, died March 12, 1982 in Sonoma County.
In 1940 he was in a chemist at a steel mill in Los Angeles County, 31, with Agnes 27, George 5, and Claudia 3.
Agnes (Bacon) Wolverton, mother's maiden name June,
was born March 18, 1913 in California, dying March 17, 1989 in Sonoma County.
HIRAM

32, born in Kansas, both parents born in Ohio. Hiram claimed a quarter in section 30, 7S 50W in 1912, and another in 1913.

In 1920 he's back in Mitchell County, Kansas, 42, married to Ethel 30, and Jessie 8, Woodrow 6, Catherine 4, and Lyle 1, all born in Kansas. So he didn't stay long in Kit Carson County.
In 1930 Mitchell County, Hiram 52 and Ethel 40 have Jessie 18, Woodrow 16, Kathryn 14, Lylle 11, and Norvlee 2.

In 1900 Gage County, Nebraska, C.H. Butler is widowed, born June 1833 in Indiana. Eva is 27, Mary 24, Albert 22, Lizzie 18, and Dora born March 1884, all in Iowa.
Eva married John Vieths, and they also lived in Flagler.
William Warren Wolverton, 31, and Dora Belle Butler, 28, both of Flagler, Colorado, married in Flagler on June 3, 1912.
William claimed a quarter in section 20, 7S 50W in 1912.
Dora B. (Butler) Wolverton claimed two quarters in section 8, 7S 50W in 1914.
William registered for WWI in Flagler, born January 1, 1881.
They're farming in 1920 Kit Carson County, William 39 born in Kansas, father in Michigan, mother in Illinois. Dora is 36, born in Iowa. Estell is 6, born in Colorado.
In 1930 William is farming, Dora teaching, with only a son, Estel E. 16.

Two Hudiburgh sisters had married Charles C. Snyder and W. G. Snyder. The Hudiburgh sisters might be daughters of Mrs. Saran Hudiburgs, who in 1939 came from Burr Oak, Kanss to stay with them in Joes, Colorado.
