Look forward to hearing from you,
Jeannette

One Ancestry tree has Mary Elva Gardner - daughter of Elmer and Carrie - born February 13, 1900 in Hamilton , Missouri.
The same tree has James F. Gardner born May 24, 1893 in Hillsville, Virginia.
And Elmer Harold Gardner born February 14, 1905 in Albany, Missouri, dying April 16, 1939.
Another tree has him dying June 20, 1953 in Colorado, with a spouse Clara Nicholene Aageson.
I am the daughter of Jerald Dean Gardner born in Benton (Bentonville) AR, who married my mother Toni Yvonne Elder in 1966. My fathers parents were Harold Elmer Gardner, b. Joplin, MO 1905, d. Yuma, CO 1955 and Clara Nicolene Aageson, b. unk, d. 1946? They had several children; Robert, Ralph, Alene, Alvin... something like 12 total. Harold remarried after Clara died and had more children (unk). Most of the brothers and sisters live in CO, one has gone to CA, two in TN, us in MO. Their home where all these kids grew up was in Yuma, CO, although my father, Jerald was born in AR. Harold died when my dad was 16 and my dad went into the Army, we don't know to much prior to my grandfather, Harold.
Mary Gardner Lindgard
The West Yuma history has Clara Nicholine Aageson born April 8, 1911 on the farm three miles east of Lone Star and dying 1943.
Ancestry lists one possible as Viola Koger, Married to John R. Koger in 1930 Englewood, Colorado. Viola is 33, born Missouri, and they have Ethel 12, Alice 11, Ralph M. 9, and Earl 3. All four kids born in Colorado. John Ralph Koger had registered for WWI in Eckley, saying he had a wife and one child, and was a carpenter.
John and Viola are in Denver 1923 and 1925 city directories - John is a carpenter.
In 1915 he listed Eckley as his address when witnessing a land claim. And in 1915 it looks like they were quitting farming.
Minor Allen Edman registered for WWI in Eckley. He said he was born in Charleston, Illinois on October 19, 1893. He said he was Deputy Assessor to County Assessor John Dalrymple, and had a wife and child.
In 1918 the news release is confusing, but it looks like Minor A. Edman was appointed to be a mail carrier in Kirk.
His tombstone in the Yuma Cemetery has a death date of October 31, 1918 - and it's the same lot 71 as Jacob
Minor's estate was probated in Wray January 1919
Looks like the Elmer Gardner family was in Nebraska in 1910, and that after Minor's death she married the widower Jesse R. Cowan , the butcher in Eckley.
Haven't found Alwielda in the 1920 census yet, but "Awilda Best" is the name on her 320 acres straddling the railroad two miles west of Eckley.
Alwieda Edman - Best is also buried in the Yuma Cemetery, lot 71, with a burial date of 1928
Looks like Sarah stayed in Arkansas for a while after 1930, 'cuz Cecile married Lewis Smith in Benton County Arkansas in 1935.
Arnold Ratcliff : 21 Feb 1932 residence: Bentonville age: 19
event place: , Benton County, Arkansas,
spouse: Dorothy Edman spouse's age: 18
spouse's residence: Rogers, Benton, Arkansas
marriage license date: 21 Feb 1932
One Ancestry tree has Sarah dying August 30, 1987 in Denver,
and another has Dorothy marrying Arnold Floyd RATCLIFF.
But almost certainly she's the one in the California Death Index as Dorothy Arwilda Grondsman, born December 7, 1913 in Colorado, dying December 30, 1993 in Yuba City, Sutter County or Yuba County (Father's surname was EDMONDS).
