In 1880 Keokuk County, Iowa, Chester Allison is farming 44, with Rebecca 44, Stephen M. 21, Alva 18, Lucien 15, all born in Ohio, George 13 in Illinois, and Aredne A. 9 born in Iowa.

Chester 1836-1918 is buried in Keokuk County # 92555274, with Rebecca (Perry) Allison 1835-1927 # 92555275.
Lucian proved up a quarter in section 1, 2S 45W in 1893, Stephen timber-claimed one in section 9 in 1896, and Alvah timber-claimed one in section 23 in 1896.
In 1900 Keokuk County, Iowa, Lucien Allison is farming, born Dec 1864 in Ohio, just married to Nellie April 1875 in Iowa.

September 1900 "L. E. Allison, who has been here on a visit and looking after the crops on his farm near here, returned east, Friday."

Lucien E. Allison 1864-1942 is buried in Keokuk County, Iowa # 70744361.
On the same stone is Nellie C. (Wardrip) Allison 1875-1963.

In 1900 Keokuk County, Iowa, Harry Allison is 11, with parents Stephen M. Allison 40 and Emma M. 41 (his second wife). Charles C. is 18, Jessie J. 16, Harry 11, Lorene 8, and Ada C. 6.

Stephen Marion Allison 1859-1935 is buried in Keokuk County # 92555469, with spouses Mary Etta (Eylar) Allison 1859-1886 and Mary Emma (Reece) Allison 1859-1936.

ALVAH

Alvah Chester Allison 1861-1925 is buried in Keokuk County # 59410959,
GEORGE

December 1898 "G. W. Allison, who has a farm near Vernon, arrived Sunday night from Grinnel, Iowa with a car of immigrant goods. His family came a few days later. Mr. Allison is a brother of L. C. Allison, who lived near Vernon for several years."

August 1899
"Mrs. C. Allison and daughter, Mrs. Rudolph Draegert, of Nassau, Iowa, arrived Thursday for a visit with G. W. Allison and family of Vernon. Mr. Draegert stopped off at Omaha, but will arrive in a few days. Mrs. Draegert will be remembered as being in Vernon in 95-96, during which time she taught a term of school in the Pyle district."
"Mrs. C. Allison and Mr. and Mrs. R. Draegert who have been visiting with Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Allison near Vernon for the past month, departed for their home at Nassau, Iowa, Monday evening. Mr. Draegert has been under the weather ever since his arrival here and consequently did not see as much of the country as he could wish."

November 1902 "Mr. Allison of Nassau, Iowa, father of G. W. Allison and Mrs. Joe Wingfield is visiting."

August 1909 "Mr. and Mrs. Dregart and children returned to their Iowa home Monday after a few weeks visit with her brother and sister, George Allison and Mrs. Joe Wingfield."
