(Mary Hannah Johnson, born Dec 13, 1846 at Morning Sun, Iowa to Christopher C. Faux and Rachael Davidson, spouse of John P. Johnson, died July 30 1936 in Belvidere, Illinois, to be buried in Buda, Bureau County.)
Another sister Rachel M. Marshall 1842-1891 is buried in Louisa County # 9495509, with William H. Marshall.
Catherine Faux married Lemuel W. Marshall on January 3, 1861 in Louisa County.
George H. Weaver and Jennie Faux married in Fulton County, Illinois on August 13, 1868.
They're farming in Fulton County in 1870, George 27 and Jennie 22.
Still farming in Fulton County in 1880, George 37, Jennie 31, Frederick G. 6, and Mary B. 3. Christopher C. Faux is with them 80.
George cash-claimed a quarter in section 14, 2N 44W in 1891.
November 1898 Yuma "S. M. Hubler brought his bunch of sheep down from Wray this week. George Weaver
will feed them at the B. D. Prentice place this winter."
1899 "George Weaver of Wray is helping B. D. Prentice cut alfalfa."
In 1900 George was a witness for the land claim of Jack Finn in 2N 41W. Other witnesses were John Toner, Galvestorn Lehman, and John L. Tipper.
He was a day laborer in 1900 Wray, born Jan 1842 in Illinois,
married 31 years to Jennie March 1849 Iowa. Fred G. Jan 1874,
Zella M. July 1883, both in Illinois, and Katie L. October 1887 born in Colorado.
1901 "Mr. J. Weaver and family, who have been visiting George Weaver in Wray,
left Thursday for Colorado Springs."
1904 "Ralph Cutler, who has been extra dispatcher in the McCook
office for a long time, has been promoted to chief dispatcher at the new office
at Sterling at quite an increase of salary. Mr. Cutler is quite well known in
Wray, he being the son-in-law of George Weaver."
May 1906 "Mrs. Cutler, and sister, Miss Kate Weaver, of Sterling,
arrived in the city Thursday evening of last week, for a visit with their
parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Weaver."
1907 "Mrs. George Weaver, who had been visiting her daughter, Mrs. Cutler,
over at Sterling, for a few weeks, returned home Sunday."
June 1907 "In county court, Monday, Mrs. Belle Walkup was granted
absolute divorce from her former husband, R. J. Walkup. She
will also have the custody of the children, Halsea and Emitt,
this having been granted some time ago by order of the court on
application from the plaintiff."
In 1910 Wray, George is working at a livery, with Virginia, Fred G. a dray laborer, Belle M. Walkup 33 born in Illinois and her children,
Halcie A. 13 and Emmit G. 10 both born in Virginia, and Virginia M. 4 born in Colorado.
Robert J. Walkup, 41, was divorced in 1910 Sterling, doing odd jobs,
in a lodging house on Factory Street. He's buried in Wray 1870-1914 # 81491196.
(Halcie Ann Walkup was born August 3, 1896 in Falling Springs, Greenbrier, West Virginia to Robert and Bell Weaver Walkup.
Halcie, 16, married George H. Buzick on Dec 28, 1912 in Yuma County.
She and George H. Buzick had Margaret Belle Buzick on April 29, 1921 in Fort Morgan, Colorado, dying Feb 18, 2001 as Ellis.

1911 Wray
1912 "George Weaver and John Toner received an increase in their pensions this
quarter, both being past 70 years of age."
June 1912 "Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Cutler and little son, Carl, of Sterling,
Colorado, left Tuesday for the east. They stopped off for a short visit with the
George Weaver family before leaving for different points in Illinois where
they go to visit Mr. Cutler's relatives."
June 1912 "Blaine Churchill purchased the lease of the north livery barn of J. G. Jones and Mr. Jones lias retired from the business. George Weaver lias been put In charge of the place which will be conducted as an exclusive feed stable: handling his livery trade from the Valley Barn."
February 1913 "Mrs. Ralph Cutler, who was called home by the serious illhess
of her mother, Mrs. George Weaver, returned to her home in Sterling yestorday.
The friends of the family will be pleased to learn that Mrs. Weaver is much improved."
May 1913 "George Weaver was taken suddenly ill Wednesday morning while
attending to his duties at the Churchill north livery stable. At the present writing
he is very ill, but his many friends hope for his speedy recovery."
1916 Wray " Mr. and Mrs. George Weaver returned Monday morning from a visit with their
daughter, Mrs. Ealph Cutler and family in Sterling."
On November 8, 1911 Clark Smith married Belle Walkup, whose husband Robert was killed in a silo cave-in near Fort Morgan. Belle was born in Peoria,
Illinois to George Weaver.
April 1912 "Mrs. Ralph Cutler and little son, Carl, of Sterling arrived
in Wray on Friday for a few days’ visit with her parents,
Mr. and Mrs. George Weaver. The occasion of her visit was the 63rd birthday of her mother, occurring last Sunday, March 31."
March 1915 "Miss Kate Weaver came down from Denver last Monday evening,
to care for her mother, Mrs. George Weaver, who was taken suddenly ill Saturday
night. We are glad to report that Mrs. Weaver is improving."
May 11, 1916 Wray "Mrs. George H. Weaver had an attack of heart trouble
and pleurisy Friday night. She is reported better at this writing."
October 1917 "Mr. and Mrs. William Wheeler of Henry, Illinois, arrived Monday
and visited a few days in the home of George Weaver of North Wray.
They left yesterday for a trip to Colorado Springs and other mountain points.
Mrs. Wheeler is a sister-in-law to Mr. Weaver."
(This is Vesta Sarah (Proctor) (Weaver) Wheeler, who had married George's brother Joseph 1854-1907.
In 1920 Denver, George 77 and Jennie 70 have Fred 45 a house carpenter,
and Kathryn 31 a phone operator in a factory, both single.
May 1922 "Mrs. Clark Smith and daughter, Miss Virginia,
left Sunday morning for quite an extended visit at Fort Morgan nnd Denver.
While at Denver Mrs. Smith and daughter will visit at the home of Mrs. Smith's
parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Weaver, old-time residents of Wray."
Virginia Weaver 1849-1924 is buried in Denver Fairmount Cemetery,
block 71, # 91763501.
George H. Weaver 1842-1927 is also buried there, # 135417618.
With a similar style of stone, Fred G. Weaver 1874-1936 is buried in Fairmount, also in block 71, # 91763500.
BELLE
Belle's daughter Halcie married George Buzick on December 28, 1912 in Yuma County, and had Kay on November 11, 1924 in Fort Morgan, Colorado, to George and Halcie Buzick. Kay was the youngest of 7 children.
In 1920 Morgan County, George is farming, 27, with "Halcian" 24, Mary L. 4, Billie and Bobbie 2, and George H. newborn.
George is a trucker in 1940 Denver, 48, with Halcian 43, Hughes 21, Margaret 19, Phillis 16, Kathleen 15. Grandchildren Edwin McAvoy 5 and William 4 were born in Colorado.
(Mary Louise McAvoy 1915-1936 is buried in Wheat Ridge # 169776843. Her son Edwin P. 1934-1987 is also buried there # 99288047, with Mae S. 1937-1999. Edwin Peter McAvpu. 21, married Mae Frances Spurrier on July 14, 1916 in Helena, Montana.)
August 1918 "Tice Buzick, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Buzick
of Fort Morgan, committed suicide by taking poison in Billings, Mont.,
according to word received by his parents.
Buzick was 24 years old, and was educated in tbe Fort Morgan schools."
Mathias Buzick 1895-1918 is buried in Fort Morgan # 73796492.
Robert Harold Buzick of Wray, a trucking firm employee, died Sept. 26, 1999. He was 82.
No services were held. There was cremation.
He was born Feb. 21, 1917, in Fort Morgan. On Jan. 8, 1938, he married Joyce Robinson in Littleton.
Buzick worked at ICX Trucking for 38 years before retiring.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Robert, Westminster; a daughter, Barbara Grommet, Lakewood; three sisters; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. "
"Memorial services for Ina Kathleen Ambler, 85, of Casper, will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, May 10, 2010 at the Shepherd of the Hills Presbyterian Church with Rev. Lynn Williamson officiating.
Kay Ambler passed away at Central Wyoming Hospice on May 1, 2010.
Kay was born on November 11, 1924 in Fort Morgan, Colorado, to George and Halcie Buzick. Kay was the youngest of 7 children. Their family moved to Denver when Kay was 3 years old. She graduated from West High School in 1942.
On March 26, 1943, she married Ted Ambler in Denver. They moved to San Diego, CA, where they both worked during WWII. They moved back to Denver and lived there until 1953 when they moved to Casper where Ted started his business.
Kay was a long time member of First Presbyterian Church and Shepherd of the Hills Presbyterian Church. She was active as a Deacon and Sunday school teacher for many years. Kay and Ted’s association with church resulted in life long friends that were an important part of their lives. She enjoyed the past 3 ½ years at Primrose Retirement Community with many church and community friends that were instrumental in making those years very special for her and her family.
Ted, Kay and their daughters spent the 25 years traveling around the country in their 1960 Beechcraft Bonanza. Ted loved flying and Kay was the co-pilot. They saw every mountaintop in the country! The memories of those trips could be told for days, some good and some scary experiences. They always arrived home safely.
In 1967 they built their home at the base of Casper Mountain where they lived until 1987, when Ted passed away. They loved the view looking down at the city of Casper.
Kay is survived by her sister, June Davis of Denver, and sisters-in-law, Nita Ambler and Ruth Ambler of San Diego, CA; daughters, Teddie Ambler and Melanie, husband Tom Dowler; granddaughters, Gretchen and husband Brian Astone of Denver, Erin and husband Pete Kilbride of Dayton and Amanda Dowler of Casper; great grandchildren, Camden. Sophie, Caleb and Andrew. She is also survived by 19 nieces and nephews.
Kay was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three sisters, three brothers and five nieces and nephews."
KATHRYN
Catherine G. Weaver 1887-1935 buried in Wheat Ridge might be the daughter of George and Virginia.
