PEARL'S FAMILY

Henry Delosson Parker was born October 1, 1845 in Franklin County, Ohio, and died May 4, 1929 in Tecumseh, Nebraska.
Mary Ann Frisby Parker waws born November 5, 1860 in Manhattan, Kansas, and died August 31, 1945 in Spanish Fork, Utah.

In 1880 Johnson County, Nebraska, Henry Parker is 28, Mary Parker 18 Wife, and Olive Parker 3 Daughter.


In 1900 Johnson County, Nebraska, Henry Parker is 59, Mary Parker 39 Wife, John Parker 15 Son, Stephen Parker 13 Son, Emma Parker 10 Daughter, and Jennie Parker 4 Daughter.

THOMAS' FAMILY

Joseph Protsman was born 11 January 1846 in Indiana, and died Death 25 December 1932 in Panama, Lancaster County, Nebraska.

Mary Titus was born 21 February 1848 in Missouri, and died 30 November 1876 in Schuyler County, Missouri.

In 1880 Schyuler County, Missouri, Joseph Protsman is 5, son-in-law of Anna Olds, 62.Sarah Anna's daughter is 20, John 8 is Anna's stepson, Belle 5 and Ettie 1 stepdaughters.
Thomas Protsman is 4, stepson onf Anna Olds 62, born in Ohio.

THOMAS AND PEARL

Thomas J. Protsman, 21, born in Missouri to Joseph Protsman and Ella Olds, married Olive P. Parker on December 31, 1897 in Gage County, Nebraska.

In 1900 Gage County, Nebraska, Thomas Protsman is a farm laborer, 23, born in Missouri, Olive 24 Wife, and Jessie 1 Daughter.

Emma Fonte's sister Pearl and Thomas Protsman and family, lived in a two-room shanty until a one-room house could be built for each family.

In 1910 Eckley precinct, Yuma County, Tom J. Protsman is 34, Pearl 33 Wife, Jessie 12 Daughter, Walter 10 Son, Grace 8 Daughter, Lloyd 5 Son, Mary 3 Daughter, Dorothy 0 Daughter, and Stephen Parker 23 Boarder.

Thomas proved up two quarters in sections 15 and 22, 1N 45W in 1914.

June 1916 Wray " Steve Parker of near Wray visited at his sister's Mrs. Pearl Protsman, Monday.
Mrs. Protsman visited her daughter, Mrs. Geo. Barker, Monday and Tuesday."


"Henry D. Parker was born at Columbus, Ohio, October 1, 1845, and he died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Daniel Stephens, in the southeast part of Tecumseh, at 2:31 o'clock, p. m., on Saturday, May 4, 1929.
Mr. Parker came to Johnson county in 1868, being among the genuine pioneers, as you will note. On October 1, 1878, ten years after locating here, he was married to Miss Mary Frisby, at Brownville. Their first home was upon a farm in this community. Seven children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Parker, and Mrs. Parker and five of the children survive.
The children are Mrs. Pearl Protsman, who lives in the state of Washington; Mrs. Ida Stephens of Tecumseh, John H. Parker of Eckley, Colo.; Stephen Parker and Mrs. Emma Fonte of Wray, Colorado. There are twenty-four grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren.
After leaving the farm, Mr. and Mrs. Parker came to Tecumeeh to reside. In 1919 they moved td Wray, Colo., but about a year ago, at the time of the death of the son-in-law, Daniel Stephens, they came to Teeumseh to make their home with their daughter.
Mr. Parker was a kind and thoughtful man. He was devoted to hie family and those about him, and his relatives will always have a pleasant memory of tha departed.
His wife, Mary and other relatives, have the sympathy of their friends in their bereavement. Rev. W. H. Wright of the Methodist church conducted tha funeral at the Stephans home, at 9:80 oclock Tueaday forenoon. Relatives and friends were present at the service, and there were many nice flowers. The interment was in the Tecumseh cemetery."
January 1931 "Mr. and Mrs. Walter Protsman and Mary Parker of Fort Morgan and Mr. and Mrs. John Parker and family spent Christmas at the Steve Parker home."
June 25, 1931 "Mrs. Protsman came from Washington Tuesday to visit her mother Mrs. Mary Parker and other relatives. "

November 1938 Wray "Mrs. Pearl Protsman and son, Kay, who have been visiting at the Harry Fonte and Willis Cramer homes left Tuesday morning for Denver and will later go to Washington where they expect to locate. "

JESSIE

August 13, 1914 " George Barker and Miss Jessie Protsman were married Thursday afternoon at the court house by Judge Jennings. Mr. Barker is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Austin Barker of near Vernon and Miss Protsman is the daughter of Mrs. Pearl Protsman of west of town. At present the young couple are making their home with the parents of the groom."

Merle Ilene (Parker) Penton stayed with Walter and Hazel during WWII, babysitting their children.
Merle was the daughter of John and Georgia (Kinser) Parker, born south of Eckley about 1923.

February 6, 1919 Wray "Robert Ball at Yuma and Grace R. Protsman were united in the bonds of matrimony Tuesday evening at the Court house Judge I. L. Barker officiating. The Gazette extends its congratulations to this happy couple. May their life be long and happy."
March 1921 Eckley items "Dorothy and Mary Protsman went to Yuma Friday for a visit with their sister Mrs. Robert Ball."

LLOYD KAY

In 1940 King County, Washington, Lloyd K. Protsman is a WPA aerial surveyer, 35, June Protsman 17 Wife, and Pearl Protsman 64 Mother.

June Esther Raynor was born to Charlie C. Raynor and Mariah R. Sangmaster in Sacramento, California June 10, 1922.

May 14, 1960 Spokane "Services were to be today for Harry Oroville Morris, 60, at the First Baptist church, with the Rev. James Bridge ,officiating. Burial was to be at the Spring Canyon cemetery.
Mr. Morris was born December 19, 1899, at Woodruff, Kan. and died May 11 from a heart attack at Steamboat Rock lake resort, where he was employed. He had lived in this area 20 years.
He is survived by his wife, Mary, at the home in Electric City; three sons, Harry Jr. Warden; Russell, Bridgeport; Leo E., Maple Glade, N. J.; his mother, Mrs. Elisa Morris, Yuma, Colo.; nine brothers, a sister and six grandchildren."
