George Marion Widner, married Eliza Maria McFarland, 15 on October 18, 1880 in Woodbury County, Iowa. She was the daughter of Patrick McFarland and Maria Doolittle.
George was the son of John Widner and Sarah World.

John Patrick Widner was born at Woodbury, Iowa on November 27, 1884 to George Marion Widner and Eliza Marie McFarland, both of Iowa.
George was a farmer in 1880 Woodbury County, 18, boarding with the McFarland family. Patrick is 48, Marial 43, Willie 12, Jessie 10, Eliza is 16, and Frank 7.
Patrick might be a brother of John C. McFarland, who also homesteaded in Kit Carson County.

In 1895 Woodbury County, George is 34, born in Boone County, Iowa, Eliva 28 28 born in Wisconsin, have John 4 born in Woodbury County, and Stella 5 in Washington.

One child died October 1895, and is buried in Sioux City, Iowa # 140369386.

In 1900 Woodbury County, George is a day laborer, born May 1861 in Iowa, married 18 years to Eliza July 1866 Wisconsin. She's had four kids, two living. John Nov 1883 in Iowa and Stella May 1889 in Washington.

George, 48, born in Boone County, Iowa, to John Widner and Sarah War???, married Mary Seward, 32, daughter of Stephen Seward and Lydia Solomon on May 6, 1909 in Woodbury County.

Estella Widner, 19, married Ernest F. Broderson on July 8, 1908 in Pennington County, South Dakota.

John P. Widner and Maggie E. Gilbert married in Kit Carson County on October 3, 1909.
Harry K. Gilbert was the witness.

John claimed a quarter in section 8, 8S 45W, Kit Carson County, in 1910.

In 1910 John, a carpenter, and Maggie are in Bates County, Missouri, 26, both born in Iowa. Cecil H. is five months old, born in Utah. They're next to Harry K. Gilbert 43 and Laura 31 - his second marriage.

In 1920 Custer County, South Dakota, John is 34, Maggie E. 28, Cecil H. 11, Ella M. 8, John P. 5, and Eliza newborn.

In 1930 Pennington County, South Dakota, John is 46, Maggie 38, Cecil 20, Ella May 18, John 15, Eliza 11, Billie 9, Bonnie 6, and Franklin 5.

In 1940 Pennington County, South Dakota, John is a blacksmith, 55, Maggie E. 49, with William 19 an auto mechanic, and Frank 15 both born in South Dakota. Their daughter Bonnie Oliver 17 and her husband Roscoe E. Oliver 22, a truck driver, are living with them.

BONNIE

Roscoe E. Oliver, born August 28, 1917, died in Minneapolis oin August 1976.

Bonnie is buried in Riverside National 1923-2007 # 17651558.
" Bonnie Belle Mansfield put up a valiant fight, but succumbed to cancer and passed away peacefully in her sleep, Jan 19, 2007. She was born June 19, 1923 in Mystic, SD to the late John and Margaret Widner. Bonnie attended high school in both Deadwood and Hill City, SD. She supported the war effort and worked on the assembly life at Douglas Aircraft as "Rosie the Riveter" for two years. Shortly after, Bonnie met Murray of Inglewood, CA. They later married and Murray worked and then retired from McDonnell Douglas in 1976. They retired in Ridgecrest, CA in 1989.
She is preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers and sisters, and daughter Norma Jean Burns.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, George "Murray" Mansfield; step-daughter Marsha Haney; grandsons Vincent and wife Michelle Burns, and Charles Burns; great-grandchildren include Adam, Juliana, Brittany, Kirsten, Dustin, Zachary Burns, and Ashley, Andrew, Allison and Aaron Cowan; great-great-grandson Tyler Burns. "

Marie E. Lynch, born March 17, 1919 in South Dakota, died January 20, 1977 in San Bernardino County.

ELLA

Ella May Widner 1912-1933 is buried in Pennington County, South Dakota # 40454494.

WILLIAM

William Widner, of Thompson Falls Montana, 21 born at Hermosa, South Dakota, married Ethel Truax, 18, of Thompson Falls, on January 19, 1942.

William 1921-1979 is buried in Thompson Falls # 91707580.

CECIL

Cecil H. WIdner 1909-1993 is buried in Thompson Falls # 91818064, with Florence Aurelia (King) KIrsch 1915-1981 - married 1934 and Ruth (Eckenrode) Widner 1918-2018 - married 1939.

JOHN JUNIOR

John Patrick Widner, born Nov 3, 1914 in South Dakota, died November 7, 1954 in San Bernardino County.
He had married Elsie Ellen Hale on June 24, 1936 in Lawrence, South Dakota, and they divorced in Thompson Falls Montana in 1948.
They were in Sanders County, Montana in 1940, John a truck driver 25, Elsie 20, and Ella M. 2.
Ella May Widner married Lloyd Kidder on March 16, 1953 in Kootenai County, Idaho.
