"Andrew J. Witteman died July 7, 1912. His brother-in-law, Frank Langston, took over management of the Troy Laundry, in conjunction with Andrew's daughters Lelia, who married Sidney Mangnall; and Nellie, who married Jack J. Huntley. In the 1930s, dry cleaning services were added, with Troy Laundry becoming Troy Laundry and Dry Cleaning. A pick-up and delivery van serving Eagle County was added in 1938. Agents in Aspen assisted with pick up and delivery in the 1940s."

Reba Franklin, 19, married Cecil C. Huntley on December 8, 1926 in Grand Junction, Colorado.

Rebecca was in Garfield County in 1920, 11, with parents Carl 37 and Leta M. 33 Franklin, farming, with Raymond 13, Rebecca 11, Lester 10 and Evelyn W. 4.

Cecil is a school janitor in 1930 Glenwood Springs, Colorado 30, with Reba M.22 and Leta L. 2.

He's a truck driver in 1940 Glenwood Springs, 40, with Reba 32, Leta 12, and ANita 5.
Reba's sister Evelyn Franklin, a stenographer in the welfare office, 24 is with them. All were born in Colorado.

DONALD

Donald R. Huntley and Edna Girvin married in Washington County, Colorado on August 14, 1925.

Edna was in Thurman, Washington County in 1910, 2, with John D. and Bertha R. both 31 married three years.

"John David Huntley of 520 South Chalet Avenue, Tucson Arizona 85748-4531 died peacefully 9 May 2015.
John was born 6 March 1940 in New Castle, Colorado. The last of six children born to Donald Huntley and Mary Edna Huntley, he attended Montrose High and the University of Colorado. John enlisted in the US Army in 1960 and served in the Army Security Agency, 280th USASA Company Rudow in Berlin until 1963, when he married Christa Gee Huntley née Schultz and returned to the US. They settled in Boulder, Colorado and raised two sons, John E. Huntley and Michael Huntley, while he began a distinguished career at IBM.
In the late 1970s John and his family welcomed a daughter, Jennica Huntley, to the family and moved to Tucson, Arizona. In 1997, John's family grew again when he married his amazing partner, Joelle Huntley nee Faulkner and embraced her children, Erik Louis Gawthorpe and Kimberly Gawthorpe, as if they were his own. He retired after 40 years with IBM in 2005. John is survived by his wife of 18 years, five children, six grandchildren, siblings, Pat Schnoor, Lee Bulger, and Donald Huntley, as well as his stepmother, Martha Huntley.

Phyllis Jacqueline (Huntley) Scott 1927-1998 is buried in Woodward, Oklahoma # 159260845, with Leonard L. Scott 1928-1988.

Patricia married and then divorced Chuck Schnoor.
"Charles J. Schnoor, a resident of Yuba City for more than 30 years, passed away on March 15, 2008 in La Jolla, CA, shortly after he was diagnosed with liver cancer. His daughters, Marilyn Hull and Toni Robinson, were grateful to be with him at his peaceful passing. He spent his retirement years living in his home in Ensenada, Mexico, with frequent trips to San Diego and the Bay Area to visit his daughters and take part in family celebrations.
Born September 5, 1926 in Norwood, MO, the second of six children of Louie and Ima Schnoor, Charles was part of "The Greatest Generation," serving proudly in the U.S. Navyin the South Pacific aboard the USS New Jersey. The New Jersey was the flagship of Admiral "Bull" Halsey, and sailed into Tokyo Bay for the signing of surrender terms on the USS Missouri, September 2, 1945.
Chuck and his wife, Patricia, moved their young family from Colorado to Yuba City in 1959.
He was a member of St. Isidore's parish and presided over many a pool party with other Holy Angels School parents. Chuck worked for many years as an accountant and auditor for Western Title Company. He served the Cordua Water District, and was a member of the Elks Cluband Exchange Club. He enjoyed his yearly trips to Las Vegas, John Wayne westerns, and the Atlanta Braves. He loved the Pacific Ocean, from Fort Bragg to Hawaii, Micronesia, and Baja California. It was his wish to be buried at sea, which will be carried out by a U.S. Navy ship.
Chuck is survived by his daughters, Toni Robinson of San Diego, and Marilyn Hull of San Jose, three granchildren and six great-grandchildren, his two sisters, Charlene O'Neal, North Highlands, CA, and Margaret Chaussart, Boulder, CO, and his former wife, Patricia Schnoor, now living in Campbell, CA. "

LLOYD

Lloyd, 21, married Lucy E. Strohmeyer on Nov 10, 1925 in Kit Carson County.

He's doing odd jobs in 1930 Flagler, 26, with Lucy E. 24 born in Nebraska.

They're in Grand County, Colorado in 1940, Lloyd D. 35 a house painter and Lucy E. a school teacher.

Lloyd Dale Huntley registered for WWII in Glenwood Springs, born May 19, 1904.

Lucy 1905-1999 died in Brighton, Colorado # 72035731.
2004 Glenwood Springs " Lucy" is still around town. In fact, she travels all the time, carrying senior citizens and disabled people to doctor appointments, shopping and most of all to visit with friends.
Lucy is a bus named after Lucy Huntley, a homemaker and outdoors enthusiast who started the original “Chat and Chew” program for senior citizens in Glenwood Springs in 1978. Huntley died six years ago at 96, leaving $23,000 to the senior program in Glenwood Springs in her will.
At 12:30 p.m. today, Lucy's friends will take a few moments to remember her and dedicate the new Traveler bus at the Colorado Mountain College Glenwood Center."
