Edith married Scott A. Beatty in Denver on April 9, 1925.
She's buried in Wheat Ridge 1899-1978 # 35306742, Scott 1894-1935 # 29301114.
"Son of James Beatty and Mary Watson. He married Ruth Hattie Wines-Martin (1900-1924) March 8, 1920 in Howard County, Indiana. She died August 14, 1924 in that place. There was no issue. He then married Edith Opal Parke (1899-1978) April 9, 1925 in Denver, Colorado. They had four children:

Scott was an Idaho Springs burinessman and former resident of Kersey. In 1933 he purchased the poolhall at Kersey which he operated for 15 months, selling it in June, 1931. Scott died from a gunshot wound by an odd jobs man who went into his store in Idaho Springs and started reading the paper. When Scott started toward him to tell him to leave the man drew is pistol an shot him. The men did not exchange words before the shots were fired. The man held a grudge against him for some time because of a fancied wrong. His wife was left with four young children she raised on her own."
