STELLA'S FAMILY

In 1900 Cloud County, Kansas, Benjamin Hughes, born March 1856 married twenty years to Eunice Apr 1862, both Missouri. Stella born Jan 1881, Missouri, Homer March 1882 Missouri, Willard March 1887 Kansas, Jesse March 1892 Kansas, Pearl July 1895 Kansas, and Isa - daughter- October 1897 Kansas.
Herman Paul Goldenstein 1881-1927, buried in Cloud County, is her husband, per # 13493551.

CHARLES' FAMILY


Charles' mother was Lucinda Rosebaugh, who was 8 in 1860 Butler County, Pennsylvania, with Henry 50 and Margaret 48. Jacobis 19, Elizabeth 21, John 16, Lucinda 8, Levi 7, Daniel J. 3, and John Ross, 90.

Three Rosebaugh children married Ruby children in Butler County, Pennsylvania, per one family post.

1894 Barnes, Kansas - Washington County "Levi Rosebaugh and John Ruby accompanied Messrs. Rosebaugh, Funk and IiriholFs household goods to the Strip last week."

Lucinda (Rosebaugh) (McConnell) Cook was living in Washington County, Kansas in 1880. Henry Rosebaugh is 74, Margaret 64, Lucinda McConnell 24, David N. Rosebaugh 22, and CHARLES P. McConnell 4.

Lucinda Rosebaugh, 26, and P. J. Cook, 33, married in Washington County, Kansas on August 12, 1880.

In 1895 Washington County, Kansas, P.J. Cook is 48, Lucinda 44, Jas 13, Chas 18, Tilda 12, Bessie 10, John 8, Walter 6, Lester 4, and Emma 1.

In 1900 Washington County, Charles Cook is an apprentice blacksmith, born March 1876 in Pennsylvania, , boarding with Lewis L. Bird 32, a blacksmith and his wife Ester 24.

Charles is living alone in 1910 Kit Carson County, a farm laborer, 34, born in Pennsylvania.

Charles claimed a quarter in section 25, 7S 51W in 1912.


Charles registered for WWI in Flagler, a farm laborer for John Heid, born March 16, 1876. His nearest relative was Licinda Cook, of Greenleaf, Kansas.

In 1920 Washington County, Kansas, Lacinda Cook is 59, widowed, born in Pennsylvania, living with daughter Emma N. 26 b, herhusband Albert Spencer, 29 and Emma's son Edward A. 5, all three born in Kansas.
Charles, a farm laborer, is the next household, 43, single, born in Pennsylvania.

Lucinda 1851-1940 is buried in Greenleaf # 182213463.
"Lucinda Rosebaugh was born 11/1/1851 and passed away on 9/20/1940 at Hebron, Nebraska at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Erma Spencer. She was 88 years old and 20 days.
She was born in Butler County, Pennsylvania near Prescott. She came with her parents to Kansas in 1879, and in 1880 united with Peter J Cook.
Her husband, on son, Sherman, and one daughter, Bessie proceeded her in death. she confessed Christ at the age of 13, joining the Lutheran Church and after coming to Kansas united with the Methodist Church.
Those surviving are: Charles of Flagler, Colorado, James of Holton, Oregon, Mrs. Tillie Trefethen of Fairbury, Nebraska, John of Greenleaf, Walter and Ralph of Portland, Oregon, Mrs. Emma Spencer of Hebron, Nebraska, fifteen grandchildren and thirty-five great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
Interment was made in St. James Cemetery Sunday afternoon."

Charles P. Cook, 52, and Stella Goldenstein, 47, married in Burlington on February 21, 1929.|
In 1930 Kit Carson County, Stella M. is married to Charley P Cook, a laborer, 54, born in Pennsylvania, first married at 43. Stella is 49, born in Missouri, first married at 221

In 1940 Flagler, Charles is a laborer for the W.P. A. 64, born in Pennsylvania, with Stella 49 born in Missouri. Nephew Guy D. Dyson 10, born in Colorado is with them.

Guy was with John T. Dyson 40 and Dessie P. 33 in 1930 Flagler. Jessie E. is 14, Flossie E. 12, Eunice I. 10, Evelyn M. 8, Mabel I. 6, Lester L 4, and newborn Guy .

Stella # 13493551, 1881-1971 and Charles Cook 1876-1956 # 3493536 are buried in Flagler.
