December 1901 "Mr. and Mrs. E. T. Graham, living south west of town, celebrated their fortieth wedding anniversary Tuesday, Dec. 17, 1901. The usual feast of good things was indulged in at noon time and the day was enjoyed by all present.
The guests were Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Rightsell and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Graham, Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Graham, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Graham, and Henry Graham of Avoca, Iowa."

"Mrs. Harden of Hildreth, Neb., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. T. Graham, is expected to arrive Tuesday to speud the holidays with her pareuts."

October 1902

January 1913 " Word was received here this week of the death of Elisha T. Graham, which occurred last Thursday, January 16, 1913, at his home in Hancock, Iowa. The deceased was a brother of J. E. Graham and a brother-in-law of J. T. Rightsel, both of this place. Elisha Graham was a resident of this county for five or six years, returning to Iowa about ten years ago. He owned the farm now owned by Myron Fisk and built the principal part of the present improvements now on the place. He was well and favorably known here and will be remembered by many of the old settlers, who will regret to learn of his death."

February 13, 1968 " Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Wellfleet Methodist Church for Miss Ruby Johnson, 73, who died of smoke inhalation suffered Friday when a fire destroyed her farm home three miles north of Wellfleet. She died in a North Platte hospital Saturday. Miss Johnson was a native of Wray, Colo., but had lived in the Wellfleet community since 1910. She is survived by one brother, Edward E. Johnson of North Platte."
