WILLIAM
October 1928 "Miss Lena Morton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L.M. Morton, and William "Woodward", a young farmer of fifteen miles northeast of Yuma, were married at St. Francis, Kansas September 29."

Lema Woodard, daughter of Lee Morton and Mina Slocum, born April 5, 1908 at Barren Missouri, died in Richardson Texas from a car accident Dec 1, 1965 in Richardson, Texas, buried Restland.
Mrs. Will Woodard, 57, of 443 Highland in Richardson, also died Friday in Parkland Hospital. Police said she was injured in a 2 car accident Wednesday at Frances Way and Grove Streets. Her death was the seventh in Richardson accidents this year.
Funeral services for Mrs. Woodard will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the First Baptist Church in Richardson with burial in Restland Memorial Park.
She was a native of Baring, MO.
Survivors: husband; a son, Wales L. Woodard, U.S. Air Force; father, Lee Morton, Kirksville, MO; two brothers, Dale Morton and Glenn Morton, both of Colorado; two sisters, Mrs. Opal Moran and Mrs. Minerva Haley, both of Colorado and two grandchildren."

Funeral services for Will Woodard, 73, of 9925 Lakemere Drive, a retired farmer, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday in the First Baptist Church in Richardson. Burial will be in Restland Memorial Park.
He died Saturday.
A native of Superior, Neb., he had lived in Dallas for the past 45 years. He was a member and deacon of the First Baptist Church in Richardson.
John William Woodard, born at Superior Nebraska Feb 26, 1900 to Henry Wales Woodard and Katherine Orr, died at Presbyterian Hospital Dallas December 15, 1973, residing at 9925 Lakemere. Informant Mrs. Edna Woodard.

1929 Raymond Woodard, who is working for Chas. Klusman, took supper Monday evening at the Ferdinand Mathies home." (that was a mile west of the Henry Schmale residence)
Henry Schmale in 1920 owned a full six quarters in 20 and 21, 4N 47W, three miles from the Lee Morton residence.
Kathryne Elaine Woodard was born July 13, 1926 in Dallas County to Raymond Wales Woodard and Ella Schmale.
They were living at 3116 Carlisle in Dallas.
In 1929, when Henry Schmale died, a daughter Mrs. Ramon Woodard of Dallas Texas was a survivor.
In 1930 Dallas, Texas, Raymond W. Woodard is a dairyman, 24, born in Nebraska, Ella M., 22 Colorado. Katherine E. 3 and Betty J. 2 were born in Texas.
June 1931 Ray Woodard and W.E. Roberts were making the preparation to re-open the cafe formerly conducted by A.L Randel, next to the Yuma Produce Company.
December 28, 1939 "Mr. and Mrs. Ray Woodard arrived Saturday morning from McKinney, Texas to spend the holiday period with the lady's mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Schmale, and other Yuma relatives.
In 1940 Collin County, Texas, living on Hwy 75, R. W. is an agent for a wholesale oil company, 35, with Ella 33, Katherine Elaine 14, Betty Joyce 2, and Donna Marie 2, all daughters born in Texas.
Roberta Janell Woodard was born October 5, 1940 in Collin County.

Ella died as a Curtis # 113564968. In 1993, when Benny Schmale died, his sister "Ella Woodard Curtis of Canon City" was a survivor.
In 1957 Hobbs New Mexico, Elaine K. Hooten is married to Jas H. Hooten, a city firefighter in Hobbs, New Mexico.
GERTRUDE
Gertrude is the Gertie Good, 19, in 1910 Jewell County, with Ruby, 2. Married but no spouse.
In 1920 Jewell County, 29, with Ben H. 31 Ruby 11, Opal 9, Arthur 7, Catharine 5, Melvin3 and Hazel three months, all born in Kansas.
Gertrude is buried in Superior, Nebraska # 40951305 1891-1928.
Benjamin Harrison Good, 1889-1962 is buried in Superior # 15312796. "On Oct. 16, 1907 he was united in marriage to Gertrude Estella Woodward of Superior and to their union nine children were born.
His wife, parents, sister, an infant son and daughter, Kathryn King, preceded him in death.
He moved to Wichita in 1949, where he spent his remaining years.
In 1952 he was united in marriage to Lola Berry of Wichita, who preceded him in death in January, 1962.
He is survived by four daughters and three sons, Mrs. Ruby Ebsen, Bostwick, Neb.; Mrs. Opal Fritts, Topeka, Kan.; Mrs. Hazel Cook, Chanute, Kan.; Mrs. Zella Moody, Arthur, Melvin and Gerald Good of Wichita."

In 1910 Jewell County, Nettie is 24, married to Thomas Reid, 26, with Cecil 2, all born in Kansas.
Thomas John Reid registered for WWI in Bloomington, Nebraska, born April 8, 1884, nearest relative Nettie R. Reid.
In 1920 Nuckolls County, Nebraska, Nettie is married but no spouse, 34, with Cecil W. 11 and Helen G. 2.
In 1940 Jewell County, Kansas, Nettie R. is 55, widowed, living wtih Helen R. 22 married to Pleasant Warner, 24, both born in Nebraska. Pleasant is a filling station attendant.
Nettie R. Reid 1885-1963, per # 55683124, is buried in Webber, Jewell County, Kansas.
Thomas J. is buried there, too, 18838-1938 # 55683125.
In 1930 Superior, Nebraska, Cecil Reid is running a grocery store, with Theda L. , both 21.
1933 "E.M. Hollingsworth opened a modern automobile shop in the Hafner building next to the Cecil Reid grocery store."
February 1935 "Black cod was 19 cents per pound at Cecil Reid's Superior grocery store."
They're in Kearney, Nebraska in 1940, no kids. Cecil is a salesman. He's buried in Superior 1908-1979 # 44363788, with Margaret Louise (Kujath) Reid 1905-1999.
Helen Edna (Reid) Woerner 1917-2001 is buried in Superior, Nebraska # 44363687, with Pleasant 1915-2003.

One tree said May Woodard married Fred Oren Larkins July 16, 1913.
The husband of May's daughter Wilma Katherine Larkins is Ulysses Douglas Aly, 1914-1980, dying in Dallas County, Texas, widowed, to be buried in McCurley Cemetery, Lewisville, Texs.
He's buried with Kathleen Wilma (Larkins) Aly # 12872329, daughter of Saddie Maye (Wodoard) Larkins 1893-1916, buried in Republic County Kansas, # 39462698, wife of Fred Orin Larkins.
