In 1900 Iroquois County, Illinois, Albert E. Everett is farming, 38, Rosetta M. Everett 32 Wife, James W. Everett 13 Son, Wayne E. Everett 8 Son, and Nancy A. Dewey 60 Mother in Law (Mother-in-law).

In 1910 Smith County, Kansas, James W. Everett is 25 Head, Marie Everett 20 Wife, Mabel Everett 2 Daughter, and Dorothy Everett 1 Daughter.

October 1912 " E. M. Williams of north of Eckley came in from Smith Center, Kansas, where he had been visiting. He was accompanied to Colorado by A. E. Everett and son, J. W. Everett, who will look over the country with a view of locating here."

January 1913 "Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Everett arrived from Smith Center, Kan., this week and will make their future home out near Eckley."


March 1915 "Ernest Henson will farm with Albert Everett this summer."

"W. E. Everett and Miss Bessie L. Henson, both of Eckley precinct, were married by Judge Jennings yesterday. They were accompanied to Wray by F. A. Henson, a brother of the bride, and Miss Vivian Gilbert. "

September 1914 Wray "Mrs. L. R. McColloum spent Saturday night and Sunday with her sister, Mrs. Wayne Everett, of south of Eckley."

"J. W. and W. E. Everett are to have a big stock sale in Eckley Saturday February 19, 1916."

In 1920 Yuma County, Wayne E. Everett 27 Head Bessie L. Everett 34 Wife.

May 1922, Wray "Wayne Everett has sold his interest in the Smith & Everett garage to his partner, Tom Smth, who will continue the business. The deal was made the first of this week and the change in management took place at once. About a year ago Tom Smith and Wayne Everett formed a partnership and took Over the garage business located in the Foltmer building, where they continued operations until Mr. Smith's new concrete building was ready for occupancy, when they moved to permanent quarters. The firm of Smith & Everett enjoyed a liberal patronage. Both Mr. Smith and Mr. Everett are good mechanics. Tom will continue the business as sole owner and will no doubt enjoy the same liberal patronage in the future that he and his partner did in the past. Wayne will take it easy for a time, his reason for selling being that he has felt a bit under the weather all spring."

July 5, 1928 "Mrs. Bessie Everett received word Monday of the death of her husband, Wayne Everett, who was working for a Chicago construction company. The truck he was driving was struck by a fast passenger train which the flagman failed to stop. Mr. Everett was killed almost instantly. Mr. Everett was well known in Eckley and his many friends are saddened to hear of his untimely death. Eckley Tribune."

January 1951 "Funeral services for Bessie L. Kinnaman, wife of D. W. Kinnaman, were held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Eckley Community church conducted by the Rev. Moore Bell. Burial was in the Eckley Cemetery. The Ritchey Mortuary of Yuma was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Kinnaman passed away January 1 at the Yuma hospital, after a six-months illness.
Bessie Louisa Henson was born September 12, 1885 at Lebanon, Kansas, a daughter of Daniel and Almeda Henson. The Hensons moved to Colorado in 1910, where she took a homestead five miles southeast of Eckley. In 1911 she married Wayne L. Everett and moved to Wray. Velma Maxine came to live with the Everett family on January 12, 1921.
After Mr. Everett's death in 1926, Mrs. Everett returned to Eckley where she was employed in the Eckley telephone office. D. Webb Kinnaman and Bessie L. Everett were united in marriage April 21, 1933.
She was brought up in the Free Methodist faith, which she followed all through her life.
Beside her husband, Mrs. Kinnaman is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Wesley Sullivan, one sister, Alice S. McCalloum; three brothers, Frank, Olive and Ernest; four step-children, Lyle, Robert and Mark Kinnaman, and Mrs. Robert Armstrong; and nine grandchildren."
