Berman Russell Wheeler and Jennie June (Andrews) Wheeler,    Mildred

Berman's parents John and Sarah (Smock) Wheeler

Jennie cash-claimed 80 acres in 1917, and proved up 240 acres in 4 and 5, 3S 45W in 1916.

Possible:

In 1900 Henry County, Missouri, Jennie is 4, with Thomas and Anna, sister Bell, brother Aubrey, and brother Homer.

  Jennie Anders is in 1910 Henry County, Missouri, with Thomas Z. 37 and Anna J. 39.  Belle is 18, Aubrey 16, Jennie 14, Homer 12, Hazel 9, Clay 6, Everett 5, and Gladys newborn, all kids born in Missouri. 

Berman Russel Wheeler registered with a Mildred address, born May 11, 1895 in Skidmore, Missouri, single, farming.

John and Sarah Wheeler are in Yuma County in 1910, with "Bermon" 15, Homer 12, Walter 10, Marie 8, Dale 5, and Ellen six months.  John Henry Wheeler and Sarah Elizabeth Smock married March 14, 1894 in Nodaway County, Missouri. 

John Wheeler proved up two quarters in 13, 3S 46W in 1919 - about five miles from Jennie's claim.

In 1920 Mildred precinct, John Wheeler is 46, Sarah 44, both born in Missouri.  They have "Vernon" 24, Jasper 28, Walter 10, Marie 18, Dale 15 all born in Missouri, and Ellen 10 in Colorado.  Next household is Homer Wheeler, 22, born in Colorado.

In 1930 Larimer County, Colorado, John and Sarah Wheeler have Ellen - no occupation , and Jasper M. 12.

John Henry Wheeler 1873-1954 is buried in Lakeside, Loveland, Colorado.42056679 with Sarah E. 1875-1946 # 42056680.

The state records show "Buman" Wheeler, and June Andrews, both 28, marrying November 17, 1923 at Vernon, performed by J. Brand, minister of Vernon.

 1923 "Berman Wheeler and June Andrews, both of Mildred, obtained a marriage license in Wray Nov. 15."

 In 1930 Kirk precinct, Yuma, Berman R. Wheeler,  and Jennie J. Wheeler,  both born in Missouri about 1896, have Hugh E. , 5.B

Berman, June, and Hugh are farming in Loma, Mesa County, Colorado in 1940.

They're living in Palisade, Colorado in 1955.

Berman R. 1895-1954, is buried in Palisade, Colorado.50703610 -  So is J. June Wheeler 1895-1975.

Hugh E. Wheeler died in Moab Utah April 2006.

James Homer Wheeler registered with a Mildred address, born July 31, 1897 in Skidmore, Missouri, nearest relatives Mr. and Mrs. John Wheeler.

William D. Burrell proved up two quarters in 21 and 22, 2S 46W in 1916.

In 1920 Yuma County, Maud "Burall" 'is 17, born in Iowa, with parents Davis W. 41 Iowa and Jennie 36 Missouri.  Sister May is 14, born in Colorado.  (William Davis Burrell 1879-1953 and Jennie Nancy (Eastin) Burrell 1884-1960 are buried in Evans, Colorado.  So is Mary Alice (Burrell) Mitchell, 1922-2007) )

In 1930 Yuma County, Homer J. Wheeler is 32, Maud O. 27, with Doras E. 8, and Ophal I. 6.

In 1940 Yuma County, Homer Wheeler is 42, Maude 37, with Earnestine 18, Irene 16, and Joan 4.

"James Homer Wheeler"  1897-1961 is buried in Wray 43396622 with Maude Orlena (Burrell) Wheeler, Opal Irence (Wheeler) Brown 1923-2009 and her husband Ross James Brown. 1930-2006.  Ernesting WHeeler Billington 1921-2013 is buried in Illinois.

ERNESTINE BILLINGTON, 91, of Cisne, IL passed away   Sunday, May 12, 2013 at Way Fair Nursing Home in Fairfield, IL.

Ernestine was born July 3, 1921 at Mildred, Colorado to Homer and Maude (Burrell) Wheeler. She married Wayne Billington on March 2, 1941 at St. Francis, Kansas, and he preceded her in death in 1996.

Ernestine was an LPN at Fairfield Memorial Hospital and for Home Health in Eckley, CO. She helped her husband farm and enjoyed quilting, cooking, and traveling. Ernestine was a member of Buckeye Christian Church.

Ernestine is survived by two daughters Sherryl Jungwirth and Judy Shannon; two sons, James Billington and Michael Billington; one sister Joan (Norman) Knapton. Also surviving are seven grandchildren: Valerie Irwin, Veronica Judd, Stephanie Harrell, Nolan Billington, Miles Billington, Evan Billington, and Leanne Billington Rozmajzl; thirteen great-grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her husband, and sister, Irene Brown.

Funeral services for Ernestine Billington was held at Hosselton Funeral Home with burial in the Buckeye Cemetery.
