Posted by Klammey 2007 I found a 1930 census record showing a Florance VanMatre with her husband, Emery P. VanMatre, in the Happyville, Yuma, Colorado index. She was born in Nebraska in 1896 (age 34 in census record). The following children were listed: Lee V, Lena Belle, Laura L, Elizabeth E, Dortha D, Luella R and Eva May. I also found a death record for Emery Pearl VanMatre, (10/23/1893 - 04/02/1973) in Sadro Woolley, Washington. I don't know for certain that this is the same VanMatre family, but I suspect that it is. Prior to living in Yuma County, Colorado, I believe that this family lived in Nebraska. I am seeking more information, especially on Elizabeth E VanMatre. I'm at a dead end on this so all information would be appreciated.
