Burton, teaching in District 19, the Brand school northeast of Yuma, attended the Akron Institute in 1924.

" The funeral for Burton V. Gregory, 76, Alton, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Mt. Ayr Friends Church, Alton, the Rev. Joseph Cox officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Ayr Cemetery.
Mr. Gregory died Tuesday at Mitchell County Hospital, Beloit. He was born March 9, 1902, in Osborne County and was a farmer and rancher in the Alton community throughout his life. Mr. Gregory was a member of the Mt. Ayr church and a past master and district committeeman for the Boy Scouts.
Surviving are his wife, Esther, of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Elma N. Keith, Council Bluffs, Iowa; one son, Arthur, Scott City; one brother, Roland, Pierceton, Ind., and four grandchildren. ")

Burton (a cousin of Olive, Mary, Lucile, and Jessie), is teaching in District 19, the Brand school northeast of Yuma:
