At the 1911 Eckley Old Settlers Day, "But what was of much interest to the crowd were the fine recitations given by the Misses Minnie Graves of Eckley and Freda French of Edison, Nebraska."

July 3, 2021 Ketchum, Idaho "A get-together by friends of Nicola Potts, outside the Leadville Espresso House in Ketchum, was well attended Tuesday night, two days after her death. Former Coffee Grinder café owner and community activist Nicola Potts died Sunday, leaving many friends in mourning. A group of about 100 people gathered Tuesday evening on Leadville Avenue in Ketchum where she operated the Coffee Grinder for many years. They listened as numerous friends related anecdotes collected during their many years knowing her. Potts had been receiving treatment for an illness in California. advertisement “Nikki was an iconic small-town personality,” said longtime friend and former housemate Greg Stahl in an interview. “There has been an outpouring of startled grief and this is a sign of how many lives she touched in a positive way.”
