Henry J. and Mary (Feese) Depperman
One tree said David Feese was born 1804 in North Carolina, dying March 1890 in Dsw Moinses County, Iowa.
Lucinda Fees 1808-1878 died in Iowa.
In 1870 Clarke County, Iowa, Henry Depperman is farming, 30,
born in Prussia, with Mary E. 24 in Pennsylvania. Martha B. is 3, Carrie E. 2, and ALice nine months, all three born in Iowa.
In 1880 Clarke County, Henry is 40, Mary 34, Mattie 13, Carrie 12, Allie 10, Willie 7, Ruggen 4, adn Freddy 2.
In 1885 Clarke County, Henry J. is 45, Mary E. 39, Carrie 16, Annie M. 14, Willie E 12, Robert 9, D.F. 7, and R. L. 3.

In 1910 Mary E. Depperman is in San Jose, California, 63, widowed, with daughter Carry Becker 46 also widowed.
(Carrie was in San Jose in 1900, 36 with Julius W. Becker 39, Johna . Graham 9 and George Graham 7.)
Carrie E. Graham, 72, died in Seattle, Washington on April 14, 1942.
In 1920 Berthoud, Colorado William and "Mary" Turner have Mary E. 16 and Martha A.
14. Living with them is widowed mother-in-law Mary Depperman, born about
1876 in Iowa.
Corp. Henry J. "Dipperman" dying July 5, 1904 is buried in San Jose California # 15208950.

On 31 Jul 1861 he mustered into Co. C, 1st Iowa Cavalry.
He re-enlisted on 22 Feb 1864 (place not stated).
Promoted to 7th Corporal on 10 Sep 1864,
Promoted to 4th Corporal on 4 Feb 1866.
He was mustered out on 15 Feb 1866 at Austin, Texas.
Born in Pennsylvania."

March 17, 1920 "Mrs. Mary Feese Depperman, aged 74 years, died at
6:3O o'clock this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. A. Turner,
between Campion and Berthoud. She had been a sufferer from Bright's
disease and dropsy for some years. The deceased, whose maiden name
was Mary Feese, was born Dec. 29, 1846, in Des Moines county, Iowa.
She was married on June 16, 1864, to H. J. Depperman,
a veteran of the Civil war. He preceded her in death on July 5, 1904.
Eight children were born to them, as follows:
Mrs. W. A. Turner, of Loveland; Mrs. Carrie Graham of San Jose, Calif.;
Mrs. George Stephens of Denver; W. E. Depperman of New Virginia, Iowa;
J. R. Depperman, D. F. Depperman and L. R. Depperman, of Oregon,
and Nellie, a daughter who died in infancy.
Mrs. Depperman was blessed also with 18 grandchildren
and 13 greatgrandchildren. Three brothers and four sisters
also survive her. The deceased united with the Methodist
church at the age of 15 years and was a faithful Christian and
devoted mother. Funeral services will take place at the
Bell & Finley undertaking parlors at 3 o'clock Thursday
afternoon."
"Andrew Feese has received word of the death of his sister, Mrs. Mary Depperman, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mattie Turner, in Loveland Colorado. The funeral was held last Friday afternoon, in Loveland."

John Runion Depperman, born June 11, 1875, was a blacksmith when registering for WWI in Portland Oregon, spouse Mariam Ethelyn Depperman.
Miriam is in Portland in 1930, a servant, married but no spouse, 56, with Lawrence 15 and Lynn 15.
Miriam is divorced in 1940 Portland.
John R. Depperman died in Morrow County, Oregon on May 14, 1954, spouse Frances.
Lemuel Raymond Depperman and Audrey E. Belieu married in Multnomah County, Oregon in 1904.
Ray Depperman is in Portland, Oregon in 1910, 28, with Alma 23 and Audrey 4.
He died December 24, 1952 in Washington County, Oregon.
Elma is divorced in 1940 Vancouver, Washington.
Elma Audrey Belieu Depperman 1887-1974 died in Sacramento County, California, buried in Portland # 175082300.

Mrs. Brigadier Audrey M. Beringer (R) was recently promoted to Glory from the Sunbridge Care Center in Pleasant Hills, Calif.
Audrey Depperman was born in 1905 in Portland, Ore., to a Salvationist family. She was commissioned in 1927 with the Fidelity Session and married Lieutenant John Beringer in 1928. They served together in several corps assignments. During World War II they operated a Red Shield servicemen’s club and a dormitory for wives and babies of the servicemen. They lost Ruth Ann, their first child, in 1944 at the age of 10.
In 1951 they were transferred from corps work into the Men’s Social Service Department, serving in Stockton, Sacramento, Portland, and Tacoma.
The Beringers retired in 1970 to Citrus Heights, Calif., where they were active soldiers of the Sacramento and North Sacramento Corps for another 26 years. In 1997 they moved to the Baywood Care Center to be near their family and soldiered at the Concord Corps. He was promoted to Glory that year. Audrey was an avid reader and a talented artist.
A memorial service was held at the Concord Corps with Major Bill Nottle, corps officer, speaking. She is survived by her son, John David, his wife, Patricia, five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Messages of sympathy may be sent to her son at 22 Kilgo Court, Pleasant Hills CA 94523."
