In 1900 Smith County, Henry is 66, Christiana A. 56, Orville and Orvinne borth born October 1867, Ned A. 29, and Arthur 16.

1908 Yuma "Henry Bashford of Franklin, Neb., arrived Monday for a visit with his brothers, who live near Bryant."

Henry is buried in Franklin, Nebraska 1832-1916 # 85659527, with Christiana (Parr) Basford 1843-1920 # 85659509.

May 1908 "Mrs. H. Bashford of Franklin, Nebraska, is out on a visit with her son, C. A. Bashford and Daughter, M.rs E. O. WAGNER of Bryant."

In 1910 Yuma County, Edward Waggoner is 38, born in Illinois, Kate H. 34 in Kansas, and Mabel F. 10 born in Kansas.

Edward O. Waggoner proved up a quarter in section 19, 5N 47W in 1913 - about eight miles from Orvin's claim.

1916

In 1920 Norton County, Kansas, Edward 49 is a laborer, and Kate H. 43. Christina Basford, widowed, 75, is with them.

Katie Basford Waggoner 1876-1940 is buried in Franklin # 143032390, with Edward O. Waggoner 1872-1952.

Mabel Fern (Waggoner) Roberts 1899-1969 is buried in Scottsbluff, Nebraska # 81227994, marrying Guy Ralph Roberts in October 1915.

NED

March 1909 Yuma - "Mrs. Basford and children, after spending the winter in Kansas, returned home Saturday."

In 1910 Yuma County, Ned is farming, 30, with Erma L. 22, Beulah V. 4, Archie L. 3, and Mona M. 1, all born in Kanss.
Orvin E. 41 is living with them.

Ned A. Basford proved up a quarter in section 7, 5N 48W in 1913.


1914

1917 "Archie Basford, oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. N. A. Basford, of twenty-two miles northwest of Yuma, is having a run of typhoid fever."

Ned is farming in 1920 Bonner County, Idaho, 40, with Erma 31, Beulah H. 14, Archie 13, Mona 10, Melva 7, Kenneth 6, Randall 4.
Orville, 51 is also with them.

In 1930 Ned and Erma are farming in Smith County, Kanss, with Kenneth 16 and Randall 14.

Ned, Archie, and Randall are laborers in a timber operation in 1940 Gunnison County, Colorado, with Erma 52, and a grandson Lawrence 4 born in Kanss. Archie 33 is married but nos spouse, so he might be Lawrence.'s father.

Ned A. Basford 1879-1948 is buried in Gunnison, Colorado # 79557671, with Erma L. 1888-1951.
Archie Basford and Willma Moor had Ned Orville Basford on July 31, 9141 in Gunnison, who died March 15, 2006.
Archie 1906-1961 is buried in Grand Junction, Colorado # 97915206, with Wilma Leone Moore Basford 1912-1999.

June 1913 "Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Bashford and children went to Naponee, Nebraska Wednesday, where they were summoned on account of the serious illness of a relative."

Chester A. Basford proved up a quarter in section 7, 5N 47W in 1912, about six miles from Orvin's claim.

1930 federal census for Rock Creek, Washington Co., Colorado, has Orvil S. Basford, male, lodger, age 63, b. IA, father b. VT, mother b. VT, farm laborer, widower. (living with family of Clarence E. Miller)

Orville, 51 is with Ned in 1920 Bonner County, Idaho.
Orville 1868-1937 is buried in the Adams County, Nebraska state cemetery, # 35937961.

ORVIN

Orvin cash-claimed a quarter in section 9, 5N 48W in 1909.

His witnesses were Frederick Neilson, William Anderson, William A. Turner, and Edward O. Waggoner, all of Bryant.

In 1910 Yuma County, Ned is farming, 30, with Erma L. 22, Beulah V. 4, Archie L. 3, and Mona M. 1, all born in Kanss.
Orvin E. 41 is living with them.

Orvinn Eugene Basford 1868-1933 is buried in Franklin, Nebraska # 135301174.

Lee Dix was the administrator of the final settlement of the estate of Orvin E. Basford in January 1944.
