Chester A. Basford

Chester Arthur Basford was born August 11, 1883 in Allen County, Kansas to Henry and Christiana Alma (Parr) Basford,

The tree says he married Achsah Sarah Francisco, born 1888 in Smith County Kansas.

and that Sarah died 1956 in Sterling

In 1910 Yuma County Chester and Achsah have Audrey F. 2, born in Kansas, and Opal T, 1, Colorado.

He registered for WWI in Sterling, and was disqualified because of an arm injury.

Chester proved up a quarter in 7, 5N 47W in 1912

In 1920 they're with his mother in Franklin County, Nebraska - they have Audrey 11, Erma B. 8 Woodrow W. 7, and Victor L. 4.

They're back in Sterling in 1930, with just Woodrow and Leroy.

In 1940 Sterling Chester works at a greenhouse, and no children with them.


Chester Arthur Basford 1883-1954 is buried in Sterling, Colorado # 55050159, with Achsah S. 1888-1956 # 55050164.

Audrey Frances Basford married Lester Morris, son of Alexander Morris and Mary Malissa Breese, on 31 March 1924.1
 died on 18 October 1968 at Tieton, Yakima, Washington, at age 61

Erma Bell born 1912,;married Fred Otis Whittaker on 6 February 1928 at Bridgeport, Morrill, Nebraska dying 1987

 

Opal Grace Basford was born on 22 July 1908 , died on 7 November 1991 at Riverside County, California, at age 83.

 

Victor Leroy Basford was born on 6 December 1915 in Nebraska.
 also went by the name of Lee. married Lucille Roberts
He died in January 1998 at Hurricane, Utah, at age 82.

 


Victor Lee Basford 1915-1998 is buried in Washington County, Utah # 39032, with Lucille M. (Roberts) Basford 1915-1995.
Woodrow Wilson Basford was born on 10 November 1913  also went by the name of "Bus".1
He died on 25 May 1977 at Los Angeles, California, at age 63.
