Funeral services for Mrs. Julia Drown Shroyer, 70,
of 745 Queens drive, will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday in
Chapel Mortuary, with the Rev. R. G. Keller, of the
Free Methodist church, in charge.
Mrs. Shroyer was born at Lamar, Kan., on July 12, 1880,
and on Feb. 6, 1899, was united in marriage with
John Lewis Shroyer, at Concordia, Kan.
Her husband preceded her in death on Oct. 15, 1918.
The family moved to Medford 23 years ago, where Mrs.
Shroyer died at home last Sunday, November 26, 1950.
She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church at
Miltonvale, Kan.
Survivors include three sons, Floyd and Kenneth, of Medford,
and John, Madras; one daughter, Mrs. Irene Cole, Central Point;
two brothers, Albert and Ray Drown, both of Lamar, Kan.;
three sisters, Mrs. Alice Allen and Mrs. Lottie Bennett,
both of Miltonvale, Kan., and Theresa Clark, Kansas City, Mo.;
and six grandchildren in Medford.
The body will lie in state at Chapel Mortuary Thursday
afternoon and evening and those wishing to pay their
respectito the family may do so at that time.
Interment will be made in Siskiyou Memorial park,
with Clarence Arnold, Clarence Starkey, John Blass,
Richard Tracy, Ralph Dean and LeRoy Krleger as pall bearers."
