ELLA'S FAMILY

Nancy G. (Wheeler) Wade, 30, daughter of Jno. B. Wheeler, married Geooge Allgood on January 1, 1885 in Nemaha County, Nebraska.

In 1885 Nemaha County, Nebraska, Geo. Allgood is 33, Nancy Allgood 31, born in Illinois. G. Wade 8, J. M. Wade 4, and nephew M. Wheeler 8, born in Missouri.

In 1900 Saline County, Nebraska, Nancy Fay Foster is 46, married twelve years, James Marion Wade 19 Son, and Ella May Foster 8 Daughter.

They're next to daughter Tabitha D. Rouse born August 1876 in Missouri, with her husband John Rouse Sept 1863 Nebraska and Henry 6 and Mary 4 and Joseph one month.

In 1905 Phillips County, Kansas, J. M. Wade is 24, Nancy Foster 51, George Wade 18, and Ella Foster 13.

FRANK AND ELLA

January 1910 Valley precint items "Frank Brant is visiting with Mr. Fincher this week. Frank says his wife and baby are well and that his mother-in-law will be out here by March 1st. Her son "Frank Wade" has taken the widow Brant homestead."

In 1910 Valley precinct, Yuma County, Frank D. Brant is 23 Head, Ella Brant 19 Wife, and May Brant 2 Daughter.

April 1911 "The Frank Brant case, charged with disposing of mortgaged property, was heard yesterday and went to the jury last evening. The jury disagreed and were discharged at noon, and this case continued for term."

June 1912 "County Sheriff Devling and Deputy Bolandor made a trip in the Devling car to the Valley precinct where they made the arrest of Frank Brant and John Doe of that precinct Tuesday. The charge against them is that of stealing the household goods of the party whose farm they were renting. The men had attempted to flee but were apprehended about one-half mile from the state line and brought to Wray where they were lodged in jail."

In 1930 Sterling, Frank A. Brant is a trucker, 42, Ella M. Brant 39 Wife, Marvin O. Brant 12 Son, and Vera Brant 10 Daughter.

November 1932 "John William Brant was born June 7, 1894 in Agra, Phillips County, Kan., and came to his untimely end at Ellsworth, Kan., October 25, 1932 at the age of 38 years, 4 months and 18 days. Until at the age of twenty-four he remained with his parents in Pawnee City, Nebraska., On July 25, 1918 he enlisted in the army, serving two years. On March 13, 1922 he was united in marriage to Miss Amy Prickett of Vernon, Colo., at Pawnee City, Neb.
To this union were born six children: Hilda Mae, Kenneth Martin, Clarisia Adora, Melvin Earl, Marvin Murel and Virginia Ruth. Marvin Murel, a twin baby, preceded his father in death in 1929.
He leaves to mourn his sad departure his wife and five children, his aged mother, Mrs. Jennie Brant of St. Francis, Kan. , four brothers: Fred and Don of St. Francis, Kan., Frank and Harry of Sterling, Colo., three sisters, Myrtle and Nancy of California, Nora of Pawnee City, Neb., his step mother of Pawnee City, Neb., besides a host of other less near relatives and friends. He pledged his faith in Christ and lived as a true and loving husband and father.
Funeral services were held at Benkelman, Neb., Friday morning at 10:30 from the Presbyterian church with the minister of that place in charge of the services. Military services were held at the grave and the body was laid to rest in the Benkelman cemetery."

October 1933 "Frank Brant of Sterling visited the first of last week with his aunt, Mrs. Marj’ Likens. "

1934 "Marvin Brant returned to his home in Sterling Wednesday after a few weeks visit at the home of his aunt, Mrs. Mary Likens."

December 1934 Wray "On December 12 Mr. Morgan granted a wedding license to Frnnk Stuck and Miss Vera Fern Brant, both of Sterling."

April 1961 "Three members of a Cheyenne, Wyo. family were in the Brush hospital from injuries received when their convertible and a pickup collided one mile east of Brush at the junction with Highway 71. Vickie S. Walker, 19, was driving the convertible and Frank A. Brant, 74, of Sterling, driving west, made a left turn in front of the car. She didn't have time to stop and she hit the pickup almost head-on. Patrolman Don Frieler reported. Neither vehicle overturned. Mrs. Walker had a bad cut on her right leg and bruises. Clifford L. Walker, 23, had a bad cut on his face and a serious eye injury, and the baby, Kimberley, a cut on her nose. Damage to the convertible was $1,500. The pickup damage was estimated at $4OO."
