June 10, 1899 "Charles and John Pickle,
who are visiting relatives in Cuba, Kansas, will start on the
return trip about the 15th instant. They will make the
trip on their bicycles, and are scheduled to stop in Deuel county
for a short visit. It would be safe to bet that will not be
the only stop."
June 1899 "Charley and John Pickle are expected to arrive home
about the last of June."
November 1899 Wray "Mrs. J. W. Pickle of the Arickiree hut formerly cf Wray, is the guest of Mrs. L. M. Butts and Miss Margaret Campbell. "
John proved up 160 acres in sections 5 and 8, 3S 44W in 1900.
February 1900 "J. W. Pickle returned from Iowa last week for a
few days visit, and called on Wray friends early this week.
His many friends were pleased to great him again and to hear
of his continued prosperity. Mr. Pickle has contracted to
put in a flouring mill at Nera Springs, Iowa."
July 1900 "Miss Dollie Pickle, daughter of J. W. Pickle,
was married to E. C. Preble at Cuba, Kans., Wednesday.
Many friends here will remember her and wish her happiness."
August 1900 "Mrs. J. W. Pickle requests the Times sent to her address at Mauley, lowa. She has been receiving it at Mankato, Kansas."
November 1900 Wray "John Pickle left last night for Chicago.
He goes via Cuba, Kan., where he will make a short visit."
February 1902 "J. W. Pickle and wife of the Arickaree,
spent Sunday and Monday with relatives in Wray.
Uncle Wesley did the proper thing while in town,
by becoming a subscriber to that household companion,
the Wray Rattler."

July 1900 "Mr. and Mrs. Orren Vaughn this week recieved
an announcement of the wedding of Miss Hellen G. Pickle to Mr.
E. C. Preble, at Cuba, Kas., Wednesday, July 18, 1900.
Miss Dolly Pickle will be remembered by many as living here
some years ago."

Lettie M. Miller, 19, married Charley Pickle on March 18, 1900 in Vernon, Colorado.
"Charles Pickle and Lettie Miller at the home of the bride’s parents Sunday, March 18, at 10 a. m. Rev. S. E. Ellis officiating, in the presence of a few chosen friends. The bride was be-icmingly dressed and looked heautifull. These young people have grown up in our midst and are well known and loved by all and have the universal good wishes for a happy life. They will make their home at the Pickle ranch on the Arickaree."
