February 1927 "Mr. and Mrs. Frank Flick and son, Buster were
all day visitors at the Lee Haley home last Thursday. "
Ella Jane Hunt was born in Wayne county, Ind., June 25, 1864,
and departed this life Oct. 25, 1932, at her home west of Wray,
Colo. On Oct. 4, 1883 Ella Jane Hunt gave her hand in
holy matrimony to Jesse F. Beverlin of Farmland, Ind.,
and to this union twelve children were borm all of whom are living.
In 1887 they left their farm in Farmland, Ind.,
and moved to Skidmore, Mo., residing there until the fall of 1910,
when they moved to Wray, Colo., where they
had continued to reside.
On Oct. 15, 1932 Mrs. Beverlin became seriously ill with an
attack of pneumonia after which time she never left her bed
although she seemed to be gaining in health and hope was
entertained for her recovery. But Tuesday Mrs. Beverlin suffered
a serious heart attack and passed away without word or suffering.
She leaves to mourn her departure her husband Jesse F. Beverlin,
and the following children John W. of Nunn, Colo.,
Inez B. of Pueblo,
Abbie Bodle, Charley Beverlin, Lucy Murphy,
Earnest Beverlin, Jesse Beverlin, Lila Flick,
Geraldine Doling, and George Beverlin all of Wray;
Hazel Weddle of Wilmington, Calif., and Mable Lyon of McCook, Neb.
All attended the funeral except John and Hazel. There are also twenty grandchildren and a host of friends and less near relatives. Mrs. Beverlin was a kind and loving mother. Funeral services will be held today at 1 p. m. at the Christian church conducted by Rev. Bower, and jnterment will be in the Armel cemetery. The sincere sympathy of many friends is extended the bereaved family.
August 23, 1932 "Jess F. Beverlin passed away at the
home of his son-in-law and daughter. Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Bodle
in this city Tuesday evening, following a prolonged illness, at
the age of 74 years 10 months, nnd 21 days. He was born in the
state of Indiana, but has been a resident of Yuma county for
about 25 years. Mr. Beverlin's wife passed away about two years ago.
He is survived hv 12 children, seven daughters and five sons.
The daughters are Mrs. Hazel Weddle of California,
Mrs. Owen Neal of Pueblo, Mrs. Ralph Doling of Morrison,
Mrs. Chas. Murphy of near Pueblo. Mrs. Frank Flick of Idalia,
Mrs W. D. Bodle of Wray and Mrs. Mabel Lyon of McCook, Neb.
The sons are Wesley, Charles, Ernest, Jesse, and George.
The deceased is also survived by two brothers,
Steve Beverlin of Wray and Chas. of Skidmore, Mo.,
and by three sisters, Mrs. Ed. Rohr of Saint Paul, Minn.,
Mrs. C. E. Owncs of St. Joe. Mo., and Mrs. M. K. Thorpe
of Kansas City. There are many less near relatives and a
host of friends who mourn his passing.
Mr. Beverlin was a member of the Christian church.

funeral arrangements have not been completed.

In 1900 Carroll County, James Sr. is farming,
born Feb 1854 in Virgina, married 15 years to
Mary July 1862 Indiana. Gertrude July 1886
and HarryJuly 1888 were born in Missouri, "Hue" Jan 1895 and Frank Oct 1896 in Nebraska.
In 1910 Carroll County, James Flick is 55, Mary Flick 49,
Hugh Flick 15, Frank Flick 13, and Virgil Flick 6.
Englebert Scheible is 85.
October 1914 "Melton Vandegrift and family and
Frank Flick departed for Missouri Saturday of last week.
They made the trip in the Vandegrift auto."
Frank Englebert Flick registered for WWI in Armel, born October 3,
1896 in York County, Nebraska, working for Ernest Chase of Armel.
His reference was father james C. Flick of Bogarde Missouri.
Frank was back with his parents in 1920 Carroll County, Missouri, 23, with brother Virgil, 16.

February 1930 "Frank Flick of near Armel is advertising a good oppering of horses cattle, hogs, farm machinery and household goods at public auction on Wednesday, Feb. 26. The sale begins at 10 a. m. Col. H. E. Flick is the auctioneer and the Peoples State Bank Is clerk. "
In 1930 Frank 33 and Lila Mae 25, with Frank 7, are in Logan County, COlorado, working for the Charles Doherty family.
Frank E. Flick and Alice L. Kirkpatrick married in Jefferson COunty, on Deembr 21, 1938.
In 1940 Jefferson COunty, Colorado, Frank is 43, born in Nebraska, now married to Alice L. 29 born in Oregon. Frank is 17. They're living with Alice's parents Robert 65 and Lucy 65 Kirkpatrick.

At a 1950 wedding in Wray " Among the out-of-town guests
were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Flick, Jr., and son,
all of Littleton, Mrs. Lila Flick of Denver, "
November 1952 "Mr. and Mrs. Col. Hugh Flick arrived
home from Carrollton, Mo., where they drove a week ago
to see his brother, Virgil Flick, who was very sick
and passed away a few days later, aged 49 years.
Another brother, Frank Flick of Fruita, arrived in
time for the funeral last Monday. We extend our sympathy to them in the loss of their brother. "
October 1957 "Mr. and Mrs. Frank Flick of Venetta, Ore., and Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Flick of Bogard, Mo., have been visiting the H. E. Flicks of Idalia."
Frank died in Grand Junction October 18, 1966, buried there # 23163910.

Frank Englebert Flick, 70, of Route 1, Fruita, died at 6 a.m. today in Veterans Hospital following a three year illness.
A resident of Mesa County for 21 years, Mr. Flick had farmed in the Loma and Fruita areas. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Grand Junction and American Legion.
Mr. Flick was born at Armel, Colo.??? on Oct. 3, 1896, and spent his early life at Bogard, Mo. He married Alice Lucy Kirkpatrick at Shaffer's Crossing Colo. on Dec. 21, 1938. The Flicks had lived at Bogard, Idalia. Bailey and Mt. Morrison. Colo., before moving to Mesa County.
Mr. Flick served in the armed forces during World War I. stationed at Camp Funston, Kan.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Frank Jr. of Englewood, a brother, Harry, of Carrolton, Mo.; a sister. Mrs. Gertude Vandergrift. of Bogard. and one grandchild."
Alice Lucy, born December 31, 1910 in Salem,
Oregon died May 20, 2006, named Linch in 1979.
She's likely the one buried in Jefferson County, Colordo # 1998800078, with Homer G. Linch 19-2-2003.
