Edwin was born January 3, 1896 at Creston Iowa to William and Eva D. (Mouser) Gibson.
In 1900 Union County, Iowa, Edwin C. is 4, with parents William July 1862 and Eva H. Feb 1861,
both born in Ohio. Glee E. April 1889, Myrtle June 1891, and Violet Mar 1894 were born in Iowa.
Edwin Comfort Gibson was born January 3, 1896 at Afton Iowa, registering for WWI in Yuma County, working for George Leininger of Wray.
Edwin proved up 320 acres in section 7, 3 North 44 West, in 1920.
Edwin married Vera Marie Sanders in Burlington, Iowa on February 14, 1920.
Her parenets were Christen Frederick Sander and Mary Falk.
Edwin Comfort Gibson and Vera Marie Sander had Mary Gayl Gibson on February 9, 1921 in Afton, Iowa.
In 1930 he's back in Union County, Iowa, 34, married to Marie 31, with Mary A. 9 and Philip S. 5, all four born in Iowa.
In 1940 they're in Gillette Wyoming.
Edwin is a service station attendant, V. Marie sewing at home, Mary Gay 19 and Philip S. in school>
Edwin registered for WWII in Gillette Wyoming, working for C.W. Pearson.
1960 Las Vegas, New Mexico "Mrs. Ken Broeker of Sacramento, California, left yesterday after visiting here in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin C. Gibson since May.
Mrs. Broeker came here to assist Gibson in operating the 85 Coffee Shop while Mrs. Gibson went to Houston, Texas to be with her daughter Mrs. Handle Hutson while she recovered from surgery."

"Edwin C. Gibson, 78, who had owned the 85 Coffee Shop 13 years in Las Vegas, N.M.,
before moving here in 1964, died Tuesday in his home, 11809 Balboa Drive.
Mr. Gibson was a member of a Masonic lodge in Gillette, Wyo. He was born
in Union County, Iowa.
Survivors include his wife, Vera Marie; children, Philip S.
and Mrs. Mary Gayl Hutson; and four sisters.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. today in Lundberg Golden Door Chapel,
11211 Michigan Ave., Youngtown. Services and burial will be in Alton, Iowa."
Edwin is buried in Greenlawn # 16514598 - the same cemeterhy as Priscilla (Ewing( Comfort, mother of Edwin J. Comfort.

So is Mary Gayl (Gibson) Hart 1900-1984 # 16514745.
She must be a sister of Edwin.
Mary Gayl Hutson was born on February 9, 1921, and died on January 27, 2006, per one post.
