Creed H. and Alma (Barrett) Perry, Happyville
In 1880 Webster County, Nebraska, Noah Perry is a bartender, 35 born in Illinois,
with Alice 24 Ohio, Mary 12, Creed 10 both in Ilinois,
Harvey 5, Loyd 3 and Minella 1 - all three born in Nebraska.
Minnella Evelyn Perry was born at Red Cloud, Nebr., on March 6, 1879, and passed away at her home at 929 W. Myrtle, Santa Ana, California, Feb. 11, 1962. She was united in marriage to Walter I. Patmor at Red Cloud. The made their home in Red Cloud for a few years, then moved to Santa Ana, Calif., where they had made their home until death. Mr. Patmor passed away a few years ago, and Mrs. Patmor, better known to everyone as Dollie, lived alone until death called her.
They were the parents of six children,
twin daughters passed away in infancy.
She was preceded in death by her husband,
twin daughters, three brothers, Creed, Lloyd and Harvey Perry
and one sister, Mollie Emerton. Left to mourn her passing
are three daughters, Mrs Leola Lutz, Santa Ana; Mrs. Edna Squires,
Tustin; and Vera Groover, Costa Mesa, and one son Oscar Patmor of Phoenix, Ariz. Eleven grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren. Interment was at Fairhaven Memorial Park at Santa Ana.
Creed Haskin Perry was born Sept 28, 1869 at Leavenworth Kansas to Noah Perry and Hannah Evens.
Creed Perry, 22, married Anna Barrett on March 3, 1892 in Red Cloud, Nebraska.
Anna Barrett was in Smith County in 1880, daughter of William 45 and Hannah 43.
Emma is 20, Sarah J. 18, Mary E. 13, Charles W. 11, - all born in England
Anna B. 9 in Illinois, and Cora 2 in Kansas.
William 1835-1902 is buried in Smith County # 117155420, with Hannah (Snowden( Barrett 1838-1888.
February 1898 Red Cloud "Chas. Barrett has sold his corn sheller to Creed Perry and Ed. Reubens. They are doing the shelling for this whole country."
In 1900 Smith County, Kansas, Creed H. is farming, born Sept 1869 in Kansas, married eight years to Emma L. April 1871 Illinois. Eula Sept 1894 and Lettie Feb 1897 were born in Nebraska, Bert May 1899 in Kansas.
Creed Perry is in Smith County, Kansas in 1910, 40, with Anna L. 38., Eula 15, Lottie 13, Bert 10, and Juba 3.
Red Cloud February 23, 1911 "Creed Perry is home from his homestead in Yuma Colorado."
September 1913 "Fred Barber, wife and family drove through from
Red Cloud, Nebraska, and arrived here on last Wednesday.
Mrs. Barber is a sister of Mrs. C. H. Perry, who lives a little west of
here. They intend to locate here in the southwestern part of Happyville.
Fred says that the farmers back east will find feed for stock pretty
light by next spring as they had to start in to feed a long time ago
owing to the lack of grass."

Emma A. Barber 1860-1930 is buried in Smith County, Kansas # 117144048.

1920 "Mrs. Clay Weaver of Rozet, Wyoming,
who had been visiting with her sister, Mrs. C.H. Perry and family,
went to Wray Sunday where she will visit her daughter,
Mrs. James Duvall and family."
1912 Wray Rattler - Sand Hills items "James DuVall and Joe Shroyer were seen
buggy riding in Wray last Sunday. Boys there are lots of girls in the sand hills without going so far away."
Elsie May Weaver, 19, had married James D. Duvall in Yuma County on April 15, 1916.
James Duvall was in Roset, Wyoming in 1920, 22, farming, with Elsie 23, Carol 2, and Marguerite 1.
This is Cora Ellen Weaver 1878-1962 buried in Gillette, Wyoming # 144076920,
with Clay C. Weaver 1875-1945.
"Ora Prill and son Merl left for Almena Kansas, where they will visit the former's parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Prill."
Creed H. Perry proved up two quarters in 19, 2S 46W in 1914.
1918 "Creed Perry made a trip to Wray one day last week and on his return home he broke an axle on his car at Vernon, causing him another trip to town."
September 4, 1919 Red Cloud, Nebraska "Mrs. Geo. Mountford and Mrs. Creed Perry, of Yuma, Colorado, who arc visiting relatives here, spent Saturday in Hastings."

1922 "C. H. Perry, who has been farming in the Heartstrong
neighborhood southwest of Wray for about 11 years, has announced himself
a candidate for county assessor on the republican ticket."
Creed and Anna are in Smith County, Kansas in 1930, with Albert L. 30, widowed,
born in Kansas. Leland 10 and Ancil 8 were born in Nebraska, Letha 4 in Colorado.
Creed and Anna in 1940 are in Sterling, Colorado.
Son Albert L. Perry registered in Yuma County, born May 25, 1899. He was farming, reference Mrs. Anna Perry.
He married Irma Polly in Yuma County.

Irma B. Perry 1902-1927 is buried in Eckley, per # 53151222.
In 1930 they're back in Smith County, with son Albert L. 30, widowed, and his kids Leland D. 10 Nebraska, Ancil C. 8 Nebraska, and Leta G. 4, Colorado.
Albert has remarried, and in 1940 is a rig builder in Great Bend, Kansas,
He and Ruth E. are both 40, born in Kansas, with Roland (Leland) D. 20, Ancil C. 18, and Letha 14.
Ruth's son LaVerne E. Earl 16, Kansas.
Albert Leland (Bert) Perry 1899-1940 is buried in Garden City Kansas # 29728018,
Leland D. (Endora C.) in 1974 is a head clerk for Pommons Tower Market, living in a space at 1885 E. Bayshore Rd. in Palo Alto, California.
Leland D. Perry 1920-1980 died April 20, 1980 in San Mateo County, California, and is buried in Great Bend # 78640088.
Ancil Creed Perry was born at Red Cloud on January 21, 1922, dying August 20, 1998. He's also buried in Great Bend # 78640030, with Marvella Antje Marie Perry 1924-2004.
"Marvella Antje Marie Perry, 79, of Great Bend, died Sept. 13 at Central Kansas Medical Center in Great Bend. She was born Dec. 4, 1924, at Heizer, the daughter of Emil Fredrick and Sophia Johanna Soeken Kruckenberg. She was a graduate of Great Bend High School. She married Ancil C. Perry on June 8, 1941, at McPherson. She was retired as a crossing guard for the Great Bend Police Department. Mrs. Perry was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 3111, all in Great Bend. Survivors include a son, Mark A. Perry, Soldier, Kan.; a daughter, Dianna L.
Amon, Lewis; two brothers, Lyman Kruckenberg and Robert Kruckenberg, both of Great Bend; a sister, Pauline Halfhill, Great Bend; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; son E. Dale Perry; sisters Dorothy Marymee and Grace Rhodes; and a grandson, Trenton Perry.
Letha Perry was born Sept 18, 1925 at Heartstrong to Albert Perry and Irma Polly,
dying as Letha Bateman March 27, 1993. Her last residence was Denver.

1927 Heartstrong items in the Yuma Pioneer "A boy was born to Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Pevler last Mondy, February 21."
Zula Pevler is also in Sterling in 1940, divorced, a cook, with Beulah 15 and Eugene 13, both born in Colorado.
Zula was in McCook Nebraska in 1930, 24, married to Leonard C. Pevler 27. They have Beulah Bell 5 and Eugene C. 3. Her brother Bert L. Perry 31 is with them.
Eula marriedOra Carl Prill on September 20, 1911 in Washington COunty, Colorado.
