In 1900 Ora is with parents August Prill born Feb 1865, Germany and Lottie M. Dec 1874 Indiana, in Smith County, Kansas  Ora was born November 1892 in Nebraska. 

October 12, 1900 Red Cloud "Gus Prill and others sold their fat cows last week for 2 1/2 c per lb off of grass."

August F. Prill, b. 1865, Germany. d. 1936, San Bernadino, CA while on vacation. Bur. Norton City Cemetery, Norton, Norton Co., KS.
August wed Charlotte (Lottie) M. Shadlaw.  She was b. 1874, Henry Co., IN d. 1923, buried  Norton City Cem.

August Prill had a farm in Smith Co., KS.
Children:

1. Ora C. Prill, b. aft. 1886 wife's first name was Eula. Res. at one time at Inavale,  Nebraska.

Children:

1. Helen Prill wed a man named Summers.
2. Merle Prill
3. Gerald Prill, by 1936 had wed a woman
by the first name of Opal.
4. Doyle Prill

Aunt Winnie,Alwina, as I called her was my Great Aunt who lived in Spfld, Ill. I knew Grace and Lucy because they lived on the home place not far from me. My mother was a Prill and Aunt Winnie was her fathers' sister who came over from Germany in the late 1800's. Along with Aunt Winnie was my grandfather, his mother and two other sisters. Aunt Louisa, or Aunt Lou, was one who married a Siebert. They settled in Red Cloud, Neb. becasue they had a brother, August, who had already come over from Germany and lived in a sod house. I have pictures of that sod house with Lottie, his wife, and son, Ora whose ancestors ended up in Omaha. My mother often spoke of Virginia Bales, a schoolteacher, who married Frank McCasey. There was also Dorothy Bales Sauers. I didn't know Louise or Kathryn. Aunt Winnie was the youngest of nine children
of Karl and Louisa Radatz Prill. Karl died in Germany and thats when Great-Grandmother Prill came over with the youngest children. There was Amelia Prill Wallner(before my time) buried in Auburn Cemetary, Ill. Then came August from Neb. Aunt Augusta Prill Ruschke(Gussie)( I remember her because we use to visit her). Then, came Wilhelmine Prill Mehr ( Aunt Minnie) ( I don't remember her because they lived in Minn.,but my mother would always write to them. Aunt Minnie had a twin sister who died in her early youth in Germany. Then, Louisa Prill Sieber ( Aunt Lou) ( knew her well; she lived to be 102 and told most of the story. Then came my grandfather, Carl ( Charles) and then Alwina ( Aunt Winnie)

Red Cloud February 23, 1911 "Creed Perry is home from his homestead in Yuma Colorado."

September 22, 1911 "On Wednesday Judge Barnhouse performed the ceremony uniting Ora C. Prill, or Innavalle, Nebr., to Eula L. Perry, of Happyville, Yuma County. - Akron News"

October 1912 Red Cloud "Kansas Pickups - from Smith County "  "Miss Mae Shadlaw of Norton, Kans, is here as the guest of her aunt Mrs. August Prill."

April 1913 "The Stork was very busy last week, leaving a daughter with Ora Prill and wife."

August 1913 "Mr. and Mrs. Ora Prill have returned from a visit in Yuma County, Colorado.  They report the corn crop looking better there than here."  "Roy Upp and family have returned to their home near Yuma Colo., after a two weeks' visit with relaties here."

April 1915 

March 1916 "Mrs. August Prill has returned home from a visit with her son Ora and family in Yuma County, Colorado."

Wray September 1916 "Mr. and Mrs. Creed Perry and Mr. and Mrs. Ora Prill spent the week in Fort Morgan attending the Frontier Days program."

October 1918 Red Cloud

November 1919 "Chas Hooper and family spent Sunday as the guests of Ora Prill and wife."

Ora Carl Prill (Ancestry index has PRICE) registered with a Happyville, saying he was born Nov 2, 1892 in Red Cloud, Nebraska, and had a wife and children.

Ora proved up 280 acres in 6, 3S 46W in 1919, and added another 200 acres via Stock in 1921.

In 1930 Ora 37, is in Smith County, with Eula, 35, both born in Nebraska.  They have Helen 16 Kansas, Garold C. 15 Kansas, Merl G. 13 Colorado, and Doral D. 9 Kansas.

One tree says Ora and Eula are buried in Red Cloud....

Garold Carl Prill died in 2003 - and is buried in Forest Lawn, Omaha. 73053049

Helen married   Leonard Archie Summer Birth Date: 10 Mar 1912 Rexford, Kansas 

  Father: Charles Summer Mother: Mable Stuffer

Age at Death: 59 Death Date: 15 Nov 1971 Death Place: Houston, Harris, Texas, USA

Creed and Annie Perry are in Smith County Kansas in 1910, and in 1920 in Mildred precinct, Yuma County.  Creed is 50, Kansas, Annie 48- Illinois, with Zula 13- Kansas.

Creed proved up on two quarters in 19, 2S 46W, witnesses Simeon Confer, Henry A. Hastings, Thomas H. Hoer, and David C. Bell.

At the same time Henry Hastings was claiming, and Creed was a witness for him.

Son Albert L. Perry registered in Yuma County, born May 25, 1899.

In 1930 they're back in Smith County, with  son Albert L. 30, widowed, and his kids Leland D. 10 Nebraska, Ancil C. 8 Nebraska, and Leta G. 4, Colorado.

Albert has remarried, and in 1940 is a rig builder in Great Bend, Kansas,   He and Ruth E. are both 40, born in Kansas, with Roland d. k20, Ancil C. . LaVerne E. Earl 16 stepson, Kansas, and Letha J. Perry, 14.

Creed and Anna Perry are in Sterling, Logan County in 1940 - he's 71, Anna 69, with no occupation.
