Sarah E. Robinson married Oliver Price on Oct 24, 1848 in Greensburg, Decatur County, Indiana.

Sarah E. Price married Martin D. Stubbs on January 13, 1859 in Henry County, Iowa.
Martin, died August 31, 1867 in Henry County, Iowa, buried there # 68527887.

Martin was in G, 11th Iowa Infantry, applying for an invalid pension in December 1866, and Sarah aplied for a widow pension on December 2, 1870,.

In 1860 Henry County, Iowa, M. H. Stubbs is farming, 24, born in Iowa, with Sarah 30 in Ohio. Maranda is 10, John one month.

In 1870 Henry County, Iowa, Harvey E. Stubbs is 9, born in Iowa, with Sarah E. Stubbs 40, a seamstress born in Ohio.

In 1880 Van Buren County, Iowa, Broxton Robinson is farming 82, with Mariah 75. Their niece Ida Robinson 14 is with them.
They're next to Emma's brother William 36 and Lodinia Gilbert 29.

Braxton Robinson 1798-1880 is buried in the Leandro cemetery, Van Buren County # 79461074. Mariah might be the Maria Robinson dying April 23, 1922, buried in Henry County, Iowa # 87291489.

There's a Mrs. Sarah E. Stubbs living at 182 S. 11th Street in Denver in 1891..

Sarah proved up a quarter in section 11, 2S 45W, Yuma County, Colorado in 1893.


Harvey proved up a quarter in section 25, 2S 45W in 1894.


In 1880 Wapello County, Iowa, Sarah is widowed, 49, living with daughter Maranda F. Davis 30, married to Andrew J. Davis 33 with Fred N. 8 and Cora B. 7.

Sarah is living with Miranda and Andrew Davis in 1910 Wapello County, Iowa. Fred Davis is 37, Cora B. 35, and Minnie M. 29, all three born in Iowa.
Sarah Elizabeth (Robinson) Stubbs, born June 14, 1839 in Ohio, died in Highland Township, Iowa on June 11, 1910. She was the daughter of Broxton Robinson and Mariah Lathrop.
She's buried in the Ottumwa cemetery # 98473003.

So is Maranda Frances (Price) Davis 1850-1935 # 79214822, and Andrew Jackson Davis 1846-1928 # 79214751.


HARVEY and EMMA

In 1870 Van Buren County, Iowa, David Gilbert is a teamster, 49, born in Pennsylvania , with Debbery 48, John M. 21 a telegraph operator, David L. 14 a laborer, Clarinda J. 16, Daniel 12, EMMA A. 8, George 4, and Charles 2.

In 1880 Van Buren County, Iowa, David Gilbert is 60, Deboria 56, Daniel 23, EMMA 17, George 15, and Charles 12.
Daniel J. Gilbert cash-claimed a quarter in section 7, 2S 44W, Yuma County, in 1891. That's about a mile from Harvey's claim.

David Gilbert died in 1898, age 79, buried in Iowaville Cemetery, Selma, Van Buren County.
Findagrave # 40633209 has him born 1799, dying 1889.
Deborah Gilbert 1825-1907 is buried in the Iowaville Cemetery # 40633210.

In 1885 Van Buren County, Iowa, Harvey is farming 24, Emma D. 23, Bertha A. 2, and Jessie W. 1.

In 1900 Morrison County, Minnesota, Harvey is a minister, born Aug 1860 in Iowa, with Emma A. Feb 1863 Iowa, Bertha O. March 1882 Iowa, and Jessie W. Sep 1883 Iowa.

Harvey and Emma are alone in 1910 Clackamas County, Oregon, where he's still a gospel minister.

In 1920 Harvey and Emma are in Walton County, Florida, still a minister.

Harvey and "Adelia" are in Washington County, Oregon in 1930, retired.

Harvey Edwin Stubbs was awarded an old age pension in Washington County.

He died in Washington County, Oregon April 26, 1936.

In 1940 Washington County, Oregon, 2nd Street, Orenco area, Adelia Stubbs is widowed, 79, living alone. She's next to widowed Matilda Wolff 71 born in Germany.
Emma died in Washington County, Oregon October 6, 1954.

Bertha Olive Shutter, 36, born in Iowa, died in Umatilla County, Oregon at the state hospital on June 21, 1918, wife of C. L. Shutter.

Charles Shutter is widowed, farming in Umatilla County in 1920, 43, with Beulah 15, Jesse 13, Goldie 6, and Silver 4.


Beulah I. Shutter, born in Little Falls, Minnesota, a store-keeper, daughter of Charlie L. Shutter born in Decatur, Illinois, and Bertha O. Stubbs born in Iowa, married Curtis O. Simons in Walla Walla on June 145, 1924.

In 1930 Hermiston, Oregon, Curtis Simons is 28, Beulah 25, Goldie Shutter 16, and Sylvia Shutter 14.

Jesse registered for WWI in Clackamas County, a machinist, born Dec 19, 1883.
His wife Anna Mae Stubbs was with him.

Jesse W. Stubbs and Anna May Welter 1892-1981 had Lilly Stubbs on Jan 14, 1912 in Escdada, Oregon.
Lily Adelia Stubbs, 19, married Jack M. Fisher on August 1, 1931 in Vancouver, Washington.
Jack, PFC, USMC, is buried in Willamette National, with Lilly.
Lilly died as Fisher on January 21, 1993.


Robert B. Stubbs died in Portland March 27, 1924.
