A humble but great man has left this world for a better place. Ronald Gene Bedford, 69, of Yakima, Washington, passed away suddenly on July 24, 2006. He was born in Wray, Colorado, on August 27, 1936, to Raymond F. and Inez R. (Jones) Bedford. He was raised and educated in Bremerton, Washington, where he also met and then married the love of his life, Leora Kay Hallam, on September 2, 1956. Ron was owner and operator of two restaurants in Snohomish, Washington, from 1963 - 1974, where he and his wife raised their five children. Ronald, loving son, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend has gone from us to be with our Lord and Savior. He gave of himself completely to raise and provide for his wife and five children and extended that love to his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other relatives, as well as all the friends he made through the years, locally and at their winter home in Welton, Arizona, and his "man's best friends," Buddy and Dash (his beloved Boston terriers). We are forever grateful for his commitment and generosity. |
