In 1900 White County, Indiana, Leroy born August 1884 is a farm laborer with Monterville Maple 55, born in Illinois and Martha A. March 1847, married 37 years. Nora is 19, Leroy 15, Ray 13 and Glenn 10.
(Monterville 1843-1927 is buried in Cass County, Indiana # 34817602, with Martha A. (Lines) Maple 1847-1920 # 34817600.


Oren Maple, 25, son of Monerville Maple and Martha Lyons, married Elizabeth Weston, 23, daughter of W. H. Weston and Jane Howden,on December 17, 1902 in Newton County, Indiana.

William H. Weston 52 and Laura Sharp married December 15, 1896 in Newton County.
William and Jane and Laura are buried in Brook, Newton County.

"Lizzie" was in Newton County, Indiana in 1900, born June 1880, wtih William H. Weston born Augusut 1845 in England, and Laura January 1853 in Ohio. She's been married three years, with Harry A. Sharp Feb 1891 Knasas.

In 1910 Laird, Oren is farming, 32, born in Indiana, married seven years to Elizabeth 29, born in Illinois.
February 4, 1915 Wray "Oren Maple has returned from an extended visit with relatives in Indiana."

Oren registered for WWI with a Laird address, farming by himself. His reference was Elizabeth Maple of Laird.
They're still farming in Laird in 1920.

In 1930 Burlington, Colorado, Oren is a Nazarene minister, 52, with Elizabeth 49.

Oren registered for WWII living at 5 Fifth Street, Longmont, Colorado, born Feburary 11, 1878 in Wabash, Indiana.

In 1940 they're in Fowler, Otero County, Colorado, a Nazarene minister.

Rev. Oren Maple 1878-1954 died in Burlington, Colorado, and is buried in Newton County, Indiana # 14765540 "MONTICELLO, Ind. -- Services for the Rev. Oren Maple, 76, native and former resident of the Monon community who died Sunday night in a Burlington, Colo., hospital, will be held at the Hershman and Weston mortuary in Brook at two o'clock Friday afternoon and burial will be in Riverview cemetery.
Among survivors is a sister, Miss Norah Maple of Logansport.

July 6, 1972 Eckley items "Mrs. Elizabeth Maple passed away Monday. Her body was flown to Indiana for funeral serices an burial beside her husband at Brook."



Elizabeth "Lizzie" Weston Maple 1880-1972 is buried in Newton County 1880-1972 # 147645532.
"Mrs. Elizabeth Weston Maple, 92, formerly of Brook, died at 8 p.m. Monday in Yuma Nursing Home, Yuma, Colo., where she had been a patient five and half years. A native of New Lenox, Ill., she lived in Brook before moving to Colorado 64 years ago. She was married in Brook in 1902 to Oren Maple who died in 1954. Mrs. Maple was a member of the Church of the Nazarene. Surviving are two nephews, Gilbert Weston of Brook and Dale Weston of rural Morocco. Preceded in death by the parents, a brother and infant sister. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Wednesday at Weston Funeral Home, Brook. Service there 2 p.m. Thursday, the Rev. Edward Boase officiating. Burial in Riverside Cemetery, Brook. "
