In 1870 Berrien County, Michigan, Ida A. Hamilton is 8, born in Illinois,
with Wm. Hamilton 41 a laborer born in Indiana and Olive 31 in Michigan. Wm. R. is 7, Eunice W. 3.
There was another Ida Hamilton, daughter of Alfred and Lydia Hambleton.
Wm. D. is a widower in 1880 Berrien County, 52, with Willie R. 16 and Eunice M. 13.
Edward proved up a quarter in 33, 2N 42W in 1895.
In 1910 Mercer County, Pennsylvania, Edward is farming, 47 born in Pennsylvania, with Ida 46.
Alfred 9 was born in Kansas, Charles 7 in Pennsylvania.
In 1920 Red Willow County, Nebraska, Edward is a railroad worker, 52, Ida 53, with ALfred 17
and Charles 16.
April 1923 "Mrs. Houston and son Charles visited at Laird
last Wednesday.
Harry Bates and wife were calling at Mr. Pickett's last week.
Ed. Houston was up to the Redding farm for cane seed last
Wednesday.
Mrs. Burnside visited Mrs. Houston last Thursday.
Ora Redding and wife were calling at the Harry Bates and
Houston homes last week. They leave this week for Hudson, Colorado,
where he and Mr. Short will go into the hardware and implement
business."

ALFRED
John Alfred Houston registered for WWII in Wray, born May 19, 1901 at Hanover, Kansas, next of kin C.C. Houston.
He's buried in Wray 1901-1970 # 37800350.
CHARLES
Charlie married Alice J. Bates on February 20, 1928 in Sterling, Colorado.
Alice was in Yuma County in 1920, 11, with parents Harry Bates 38 and Ellen 39. Nettie is 9, Rosella 4, aand Francis 1.
Charlie is farming in 1930 Yuma County, 27, born in Pennsylvania, wtih ALice J. 21 born inKansas, and Ethel 1 born in Colorado.
In 1940 Yuma County, C.C. is farming, 37, with Alice J. 33, Ethel 12, Earl 10, Bettie 4, Ronald 2, and brother J.Alfred 39.
Charlie is buried in Wray 1903-1987 # 81629676,
with Alice J. Houston 1908-1986.
"Son, Sam Houston, passed away May 20, 2017 at Home Place in Burlington, Washington. He was born in July 1930 to Charlie and Alice Houston in Yuma County, Colorado."
Ethel Faye Houston married Hollis Willian Denman in Yuma County on January 1, 1950.
She's buried in Thornton, Colorado 1928-2002 # 154309733.
Hollis is buried there, too 1917-1987 # 42949661.
Larry Gene Houston 1941-1941 died in Wray.
Charlotte Kay Houston 1944-1944 died in Wray. Larry and Charlotte
are in the same plot as Edward. Caroline dying September 17, 1935.
Ronald Houston died May 28, 2008 in Watkins, Colorado,
and is buried in Bennett, per one post, with wife Deanne J. dying May 2017 in Washington state.

He is survived by his wife, Rose, daughter, Laura, son, Kenneth,
stepchildren, Ralph Reagan, Joan Stone, Jackie Dettmers,

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Alice,
and a stepdaughter, Susan Reagan.
Viewing will be from 6-8PM Monday, 6-2 at the Newcomer Funeral Home-East Chapel. Funeral services will be at 2PM on Tuesday, 6-3 at Bennett Christian Fellowship Church, 670 E. Colfax, Bennett, CO. "
