In 1906 Sidney Carr of Wray was a witness for the land claim of Charley C. Glaser for a tract in 10, 2S 43W.
1922 "W.B. and M.E. Whisler have purchased the lunch business formerly conducted by Chas. Glaser and have given it the name of the Square Meal Cafe."
April 1923 "Chas Glaser has bought a restaurant business at Englewood and has taken charge of the same. The family will remain in Wray for the present, but may decide a little later to move to that city to make their home. Mr. Glaser has been in the restaurant business for a number of years, having conducted a short order house here in Wray iuntil about a year ago.

Linus 1882-1955 and Clara Mae (Glaser) Soule 1885-1961 are buried in Wray #35512416.
Lela Berniece (Soule)Smith
July 12, 1921 - Aug.17, 2007
Lela Berniece Soule was born on July 12, 1921, to Linus Breece and Clara May Soule of Wray, Colo.,
and lived there for several years. She had two brothers, Charles and John, and six sisters, Hazel, Evelyn, Edna,
Nola, Laura and Lenice. Her family moved to a farm 15 miles north of Haigler, Neb., where she and her siblings attended a country
school for a few years.
In 1930, her family moved to Stratton, Neb. This is where she graduated from high school and in 1942, she moved back to Haigler
with her parents. On Feb. 14, 1944, Lela and Clyde E. Smith were united in marriage at the Methodist Church in St. Francis.
To this blessed union were born seven children: Robert, James, Larry, Shirley, Janice, Ronald and Patricia.
Several years after they were married, Lela and Clyde lived at the farm that his grandfather had homesteaded
along the Hackberry Creek north of St. Francis. Lela helped farm the land beside her husband. Along with this, she
took care of the livestock, made her own soap for bathing and washing clothing, while keeping up with her
daily housekeeping duties and raising children. She milked her own cows and made her own cottage cheese and butter. She was a woman
filled with strong will, determination and versatility.
Her family meant the world to her, her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were her pride
and joy. She was a soft-spoken woman with a heart of gold. She will be greatly missed by family and
friends.
Lela was preceded in death by her parents, Linus and Clara Soule; seven siblings, her son, Larry and
granddaughter, Barbara. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Clyde of St. Francis; her sister,
Nola Dillon of Denver; her children, Robert and wife, Berneta Smith of Haigler; James and wife, Kathleen
Smith of Wray, Shirley Smith of St. Francis, Janice and husband, Aaron Irwin of Haigler, Ronald Smith of St.
Francis, Patricia and husband, Jim Leisure of Bird City; her grandchildren, Brenda Warren of St. Francis,
Janelle Myotte of Yuma, Colo., Michelle Jones of Wray, Tyler Smith of Wray, Kellie Simeon of McCook, Neb., Shellie Felzien of Atwood,
Stacie Gillette of Colorado Springs;her great-grandchildren, Shawn and Scott Warren of St. Francis, Jolissa
Wiggins of Yuma, Darrian and Clay Jones of Wray and Makayla Simeon of McCook.
Funeral services were held Aug. 22 at Knodel Funeral Home in St. Francis with Pastor Dan Carson officiating.
Honorary pall bearers were granddaughters, Janelle Myotte, Michelle Jones, Stacie Gillette, Brenda Warren, Kellie Simeon and
Shellie Felzien. Casketbearers were Robert Smith, Jim Smith, Ron Smith, Aaron Irwin, Tyler Smith and Lee
Simeon. Interment was in the St. Francis Cemetery, St. Francis.

Lydia married John Lewis Garten August 8, 1896,
HARRY
Harry is in Meagher County, Montana in 1920, 44, a carpenter for the railroad.
CHARLES
Charles COnrad Glaser registered for WWI in Wray, born March 16, 1873, marreied to Edith Glaser, running a lunch room.
