"James Edward Wolf, 86. died at the home of his son, Anthony Wolf. Wyllis Hill, Pomeroy, Saturday evening at about 5 o’clock, after a long illness. Besides the family of his son he leaves two daughters in California, who were seriously injured in an automobile accident Thursday. The burial will take place at Letart Falls, probably Tuesday afternoon"

In 1900 Yuma, Sarah Smith is farming, born April 1876 in England, immigrating in 1891, widowed, married eight years. She's had three kids,, Ann born June 1892, James C. August 1894, and Patrick July 1897, all three in Colorado, and brother James Cochrane born April 1870 in England, a farm laborer, widowed.

ANN AND ANTHONY
June 18, 1909 Yuma "J. Ann Smith and Anthony Wolfe have procured the necessary papers to join hands in matrimony."

Wray " Marriage license was issued Wednesday to Anthony Wolfe, age 24, and Jane Ann Smith, age 17 , both of Yuma. We understand the marriage is to take place next Sunday in Yuma."


June 25, 1909 "Anthony Wolf and Jand Ann Smith were united in the holy bonds of wedlock Sunday afternoon at the home of her mother, Mrs. Sarah Smith. The ceremony was only attended by immediate relatives and friends, Rev. John officiating. The Pioneer joins their friends in wishing them happiness and prosperity."

November 1909 "Anthony Wolf, who lives on a claim four miles south of town, was in town Monday, proving up before Commissioner Kissinger. While in town he subscribed for the Pioneer, taking advantage of the thirteen month offer. Leonard Smith, John C. Cochrane, John H. Smith and Frank S. Mowsaon were his witnesses ."

April 1910 Yuma "Anthony Wolf has two cousins from Ohio visiting him."




February 1915 "Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Wolf, former residents of Western Yuma County, but who have been living in the Northwest Pacific states for the past few years, arrived in Yuma Saturday evening. Mr. Wolf departed Monday evening for Missouri, while Mrs. Wolf remained and is a guest at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Smith, south of town."

June 1920 "Mrs. Anna Wolfe, who had been visiting with her brothers, James and Patrick M. Smith, some seven miles southeast of Yuma, for two or three weeks, departed for her home at Middleport, Ohio, on the afternoon train Tuesday."

Helen Biggs married Leroy Duncan Age: 39 on 9 Dec 1949 in Mahoning County, Ohio, His parents were Leroy Duncan and Clethra Zufall.

In 1948, William Cochrane's obituary listed Anna Wolf of Pottstown Pennsylvania as a survivor.

In 1950 Struthers, Ohio, Anthony Wolfe is 65, Anna J. Wolfe 57 Wife, LeRoy M. Duncan 25 Son-in-law, and Helen A. Duncan 39 Daughter.

"Anthony Wolfe, 86, of Youngstown, Ohio, and Eunice Oster, 61, of Haigler, Neb., victims of a two-car accident on Colo. 24, 2.3 miles west of Simla, Colorado. The patrol said a car driven by Vicky Knepper, 18, of McCook, Neb., collided with a car driven by Helen Duncan, 60, of Youngstown, which had skidded out of control."
