while the groom's father, Harold F. Jewett, resides in Temple City.
The bride looked charming in a white satin gown and train, styled with a low collar with
set-in marquisette yoke.Her prayerbook bouquet consisted of white orchids and lilies of the valley, and she wore a fingertip veil of imputed silk.
Mr. McGrath, a past grand knight of the Henry T. Gage council, Knights of Columbus of Highland Park, gave his daughter in marriage.
Mrs. Lorraine M. Hinson, sister of the bride, acted as matron of honor, and the bridesmaids were Margaret Rivera and Delilah Bertbold of Los Angeles. Carolyn Hinson served as flower girl.
The groom was attended by Jack Henman of Temple City as best man while usher duties were performed by Robert McGrath, the bride's brother, and Robert Schrader of Whittier.
Mrs. Mary O'Brien, soloist, sang during the ceremony, A reception for 125 guests was held at the bride's home with Mmes. Virginia Carrell and Gertrude Maloney as hostesses.
The newlyweds then left on a honeymoon to Santa Barbara from which they returned this week to make their home at 4754 Ellenwood dr. The groom received his degree In electronics from Pasadena city college
and is employed as a machinist He saw service In the navy as a radar operater and is a member of
the Newman club and the Holy Name society. His new wife was graduated from Eagle Rock
high school and belongs to the Calarogs club."
