July 1901 "Matt Harr left Sunday night for Whiting, Ind., where he will make a visit with his brother, whom he has not seen for thirty years."
This is likely Philip Harr, who married Mary Zerwer on 28 Aug 1884 in Cuyahoga County, Ohio.

"In the death of John Harr about noon Sunday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Neva Unterbrink, in East Alton, a period of invalidism totaling near 20 years ended. Mr. Harr, many years a resident of Spaulding street, was removed from his home two months ago for a visit at the home of the daughter. His death occuring Sunday ended his plans to return to the old home in Upper Alton. He would have been 79 years old the tenth of next month."
"His wife died seven years ago. In addition to the daughters, Mrs. Unterbrink and Mrs. William Hubbs, a third daughter, Mrs. Fred Dickson of Milwaukee, and a son, Thomas of East Alton survive. He also leaves a brother, Phillip Harr of Wood River, and 11 grandchildren.

"Edward H. Unterbrink, 66, of East Delmar, Godfrey, a former East Alton resident, died at 9:15 p.m. Saturday, January 3, 1970, en route to St. Anthony's Hospital after an illness of five months.
The son of the late Mr. and grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren. He also leaves Arthur of Walter of Mrs. John Unterbrink, he was born April 28, 1903 in Greenville. For 30 years, he was employed with the former ABC Bakery and later with Great Plains Bottled Gas. The last 10 years, he was night supervisor for the Young Men's Christian Association.
Survivors include his widow, the former Neva Harr, whom he married in 1922; a son. Melvin of Godfrey; a daughter, Mrs. R. Thomas, (Izella) Culp of Bethalto; four grandchildren; and a sister, Miss Emma Unterbrink of East Alton. He was preceded in death by a grand..., a sister and three brothers.
