Detective George Sanders will leave this morning for Trinidad to bring the prisoner back. Detective Captain Connor said last night that Ogden is involved in Denver, and had planned to leave with a roll of money. He had come here from Houston, and knew Miss Howard there. She is a woman of means, and when Ogden, as she alleges, went to her a week ago and told her he had a "snap" In the way of purchasing a saloon, she readily consented to lend him the money. She told Captain Connor that on Friday Ogden spoke to her again about the saloon, and said the deal was about closed, but that there was a hitch of some sort and that he wanted the cash to close It. Miss Howard turned the money over to Ogden, she says. Yesterday morning Ogden left the rooming house where both have been stopping and said he would be back shortly.
