May 6, 1899 " Roy, the young son of Mr. and Mrs. Herschel Hutton of Pandora, died Tuesday morning at 8 o'clock of spinal meningetis, after an Illness of only about one week. The funeral occurred from the family residence at Pandora Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock, Rev. Celby of the First Congregational churoh delivering the funeral sermon. The body was buried in Lone Tree cemetery, quite a concourse of friends being present."

October 1925 "H. H. Hutton, former well known resident of the San Juan district,
and for many years merchant and store keeper at Ophir Loop, returned to Telluride Friday night.
He came here from his present home in Baldwin Park, Calif., about 17 miles south of Los Angeles.
Mr. Hutton came back to the district for a short visit with former friends and to look after some
business matters. He left Saturday morning for a day’s visit at Ophir Loop. After leaving Ophir
Loop nearly three years ago. Mr. Hutton, with his wife, went to California,
where they have since been located."

George Gregory, a miner who works on the Victor mine, was shot yesterday morning
by Mrs. Harding. Dr. Collins extracted the bullet, which was fuund in the right
leg between the knee and the thigh. It is claimed to be an accident."
October 1905 Telluride "Mrs. George Gregory leaves next week for Goldfield, Nev.,
to meet her husband with intentions to make that their future home.
Mr. Gregory has a good position in one of the mines there."
