Rosetta Peveler and Herschel Hutton married on 1 Oct 1890 in Yuma, Colorado.

May 6, 1899 " Roy, the young son of Mr. and Mrs. Herschel Hutton of Pandora, died Tuesday morning at 8 o'clock of spinal meningetis, after an Illness of only about one week. The funeral occurred from the family residence at Pandora Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock, Rev. Celby of the First Congregational churoh delivering the funeral sermon. The body was buried in Lone Tree cemetery, quite a concourse of friends being present."

October 1925 "H. H. Hutton, former well known resident of the San Juan district, and for many years merchant and store keeper at Ophir Loop, returned to Telluride Friday night. He came here from his present home in Baldwin Park, Calif., about 17 miles south of Los Angeles. Mr. Hutton came back to the district for a short visit with former friends and to look after some business matters. He left Saturday morning for a day’s visit at Ophir Loop. After leaving Ophir Loop nearly three years ago. Mr. Hutton, with his wife, went to California, where they have since been located."


ROSE AFTER HERSCHEL

November 1894 "The new town of Goldfield has had its first shooting scrape. George Gregory, a miner who works on the Victor mine, was shot yesterday morning by Mrs. Harding. Dr. Collins extracted the bullet, which was fuund in the right leg between the knee and the thigh. It is claimed to be an accident."

October 1905 Telluride "Mrs. George Gregory leaves next week for Goldfield, Nev., to meet her husband with intentions to make that their future home. Mr. Gregory has a good position in one of the mines there."

Aranita Dexter was in Durango in 1910, a whotel waitress, widowed, born iN Colorado, in a lodging house.

Possibly August 14, 1913 Durango, Colorado "Dr. Turrell’s stork delivered a fine baby boy early Sunday morning at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Gregory of La Plata City. All are doing nicely. "

September 1917 " Mrs. George Gregory returned Sunday with her little daughter who has been under the care of Dr. Ochsner, and who is greatly improved in health."

Gregory, Santa Rosa, George Gregory Jr., Sacramento and Mrs. Claudia Hoffman, Santa Rosa. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. A native of Missouri, age 86 years. A member of Jehovah's Witnesses. Funeral arrangements are being made at the Eggen and Lance Mortuary. "

Edna Hutton, 9, is in the Mount St. Vincent's Orphan Asylum in Denver in 1900.

June 1906 San Miguel County, Colorado " Miss Edna Hutton and brother, Chase, accompanied by their father, H. H. Hutton, departed last Sunday for Denver. After a few days visit with friends in Denver, Mr. Hutton will return and Miss Edna and Chase will go to Latimer, Kansas, to visit with relatives. They expect to be absent about three months."

September 1906 San Miguel County, Colorado " Miss Edna Hutton and brother Chase returned fron a visit with relatives in Kansas, Saturday evening."

Edna Hutton Age: 20, married Grover Talbert on 30 Aug 1911 in Ridgway, Ouray, Colorado.

March 1912 Telluride, Colorado "Mrs. Grover Talbert and her brother, Chase Hutton, were arrivals Tuesday from Ridgway, the former having come to join her husband, who is engineer on the Rio Grande Southern work train at this place. Engineer Talbert and wife have taken up their residence in the Record cottage on South Glasgow Ave. -Rico Item "

September 1913 Montrose, Colorado "Mrs. H. H. Hutton departed Monday on a business and pleasure trip to Durango. While gone she will be the house guest of her husband’s daughter, Mrs. Edna Talbert."

Grover registered for WWI in Ridgway, an engineer for the D & R G Railroad, spouse Edna May Talbert.
