"Benjamin Franklin Frampton was born at Marysville, Kans., Oct. 16, 1872,
the son of E. and Caroline Frampton. He passed away in Auburn on April 5, 1964,
aged 91 years. He spent his early years on a farm and later lived in Omaha for many years
where he was employed by Kellogg Mills and Omaha Box Factory.
He was united in marriage to Sally Gillespie at Omaha in 1939. He had previously been married
to Rose Bowers. He is survived by his wife, Sally B. Frampton,
sons Earl and Virgil of Omaha,
Marion of Garbaldi, Ore., Matthew and Roscoe of California, daughters
Gertie Johnson of Humansville, Mo., Sylvia Gilliland of St. Charles, Ia.,
and Florence Pruitt of Omaha. He is also survived by step children,
James Gillespie of Washougal, Wash., Mrs. Ben Bennett of Kansas City, Kans.,
Mrs. Earl Martin of Omaha,
Mrs. Leta Frampton of Garibaldi, Ore.,
and Mrs. William Bennett of Omaha, 100 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held April 8 at the May and Timm chapel,
conducted by Rev. Homer Clements. Mrs. Max Johnson was soloist, accompanied by Mrs.
A. B. Ritchie, Jr. Pallbearers were Ray Besta, Earl Martin, Ben Bennett, Gerald Young,
William R. Bennett, and Bill Bennett, Jr. Burial was in Sheridan cemetery."

"Sylvia was born December 20, 1903 in Ionia, Kansas, the daughter of Benjamin and Rosa (Bowers) Frampton. She married Otto E. Gilliland on November 20, 1923 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He preceded her in death on February 7, 1981.
She was a homemaker and lifelong partner with her husband in farming. They spent 20 years in Nebraska before moving to New Virginia, Iowa in 1940. After 1944, they farmed in the St. Charles area until moving to Winterset in 1972, when she and Otto retired from farming. Sylvia was also a home health care aid in Madison County, Iowa.
In 1974, Sylvia and her husband joined the First Baptist Church of Winterset, where she taught Pre-Kindergarten classes and summer Bible School. She was a member of the Hoosier Prairie Women's Club of Winterset for many years and a former member of Eastern Star in St. Charles. Sylvia enjoyed gardening, quilting and needlework, and was a good bread maker.
She is survived by two sons, Marion Gilliland and wife, Anna of West Des Moines and Ed Gilliland and wife, Mary of Liberty, Missouri, four daughters, Audrey Wilder and husband, Bob of Mission, Texas, Anna Marie Martin and husband, Ramon of Mesa, Arizona, Dolores Oglesbee and husband, Gerald of Avondale, Arizona and Darlene McKinney and husband, Larry of Blue Springs, Missouri, and; 15 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; 18 great-great grandchildren; one great-great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Otto; one grandson, Michael Smith; five brothers and four sisters
