"It was said that Mahala Jane (McGinnis) and William died within a week of each other from bad milk fever."

Nancy's brother John I. Donovan also was in Yuma County, later in his life.

WILBUR'S FAMILY

In 1880 Livingston County, Illinois, W. H. Eagleson is 40, Sarah Eagleson 37 Wife, Wilber H. Eagleston 15 Son, Mary E. Eagleston 9 Daughter, and Anna G. Eagleston 6 Daughter.

Jennie Donovan Age: 18, married Wilbur H. Eagleson on 6 Jul 1887 in Crawford County, Kansas.

In 1900 Noble County, Minnesota, Wilber H. Eagleson is farming, 35, Jane N. Eagleson 31 Wife, both born in Illinois, Irma G. Eagleson 11 Daughter, Inez G. Eagleson 9 Daughter, Ivan G. Eagleson 7 Son, all four born in Nebraska and Irene E. Eagleson 3 Daughter born in Iowa.

In 1910 Yuma County, Wilbur H. Eagleson is farming, 44, Nancy J. Eagleson 41 Wife, Ivan G. Eagleson 16 Son, Irene G. Eagleson 12 Daughter, May E. Eagleson 8 Daughter, and Albert W. Eagleson 4 Son.

January 1914 "W. H. Eagleson and family spent Xmas in Wray with their daughter, Mrs. Jesse Smith."

November 1914 "Another change in the business district of Wray took place Monday morning, wherr Charles and Ray Hildreth exchanged the Opera House cafe for the boarding house owned by W. H. Eagleson and which is located near the railroad track.
After making tho above exchange the Hildreth brothers traded the boarding house to D. C. McGinnis for the McGinnis cottage in south east Wray.
The deal was made through Mr. McGinnis' son, Ben. Mr. and Mrs. Eagleson will be assisted in the work of the cafe by their daughter, Mrs. Jesse Smith, and their son, Ivan, who will come down from their farm near Eckley within a few weeks."

April 1915 " Ivan Eagleson will assist his uncle, Chas. Donavon this summer on the farm."

February 1916

December 1916 " Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Eagleson and family returned to their home in Arapahoe, Nebraska, last Sunday, spending a few days visiting in Wray. The Eaglesons have disposed of their mercantile business at Mascot and intend moving to Cambridge, where they have a hotel property. "

"Nancy Jane Donovan was born in Lincoln, Logan county Illinois January 1869. She passed away at the Lold-Lister hospital in Omaha February 4, 1918, Age 49 years and 14 days.
She was married to Wilbur Eagleson July 1887. To this union were born six children; Irma Graces, who died in 1902, Inez Gertrude, Ivan George, Esther lrene, Ida June, and Albert William, her husband, two grand children, five brothers and two sisters, all of whom survive her. She united with the Brethern Church in 1900 and was a member until her death. Services were held at the Methodist Church yesterdsy afternoon at two o'clock, conducted by Rev. John Thomas. Interment was made in the Holbrook cemetery."
