LEWIS AND BERNICE
"Miss Bernice Chambers, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. K. Crain, of Pittsburg, Kansas,
and Lewis C. Colsten, of Wray, Colo., were married in Akron, Colo., June 19, 1920
and have been spending a vacation in Denver and other mountain points.
Mr. and Mrs. Colsten will live on their farm near Wray, Colo., where a fine
modern home has been built. Mr. Colsten, who is a son of Mr. and Mrs. James Colsten o
f Wray, spent a year with the American army in France. "
February 1936 "Mrs. Jack Wilkins visited her sister, Mrs. Louis Colsten near Vernon last week end. "
December 1938 "The small house on the Lewis Colston ranch, east and south of Vernon, was a complete loss by fire recently. Nobody was living on the place at the time it burned, although there was a caretaker using the place as shelter while looking after cattle put on the place by William Pyle of Wray, who has the place under lease. The house was covered by insurance and the insurance company is at a loss to solve the cause of the fire. It is believed that pheasant hunters might have used the house and left without extinguishing lueir fire. This is the second house to bum on this place. Several years ago a large two-story house was a complete loss by fire."
