SERVICE HELD FOR OTTO KULLMAN 

Otto Kullman passed away suddenly, Saturday afternoon, November 20, while on duty with the county road crew of District No. 1, and although he had been in ill health for several years, he had not complained and took care of his duties regularly. 

Mr. Kullman was born on November 4, 1885 at Pleasant Dale, Seward County, Nebraska, son of Martin and Anna Kullman. As a young man he joined the Lutheran Church, in which he was a life time member, and upon moving to Colorado he at once became a member of the Amherst Church. On March 27, 1908, he was united in marriage to Miss Anna Dunker and to this union one son and four daughters were born. In 1921 he and his family moved to Colorado and lived in various farming districts of the Amherst community. About four years ago he retired from farming and moved into Amherst, where soon after, he became affiliated with the county road department. 

Mr. Kullman passed away from a heart stroke at the age of 63 years and 16 days. He leaves to mourn his passing, his loving and devoted wife, four daughters, Mrs. Velma Begeler of Denver, Mrs. Dora Weis of Holyoke, Mrs. Viola Fishbeck of Alexandria, Nebraska, and Mrs. Amanda Gemaehlich, one son, Dale, of Julesburg, two sisters, Mrs. Mary Kahle of Pleasant Dale, Nebraska and Mrs. Anna Kuthe of Escalon, California, one brother, William of Stockton, California, 12 grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. 

Funeral services were held last Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock from the Lutheran Church in Amherst and his remains were laid to rest in the Amherst Cemetery. 

Pall bearers were: S.W. Deden, Leonard Rodeman, D.F. Sagehorn, Wm. Block, Wm. Radtke and J.P. Thomsen.
