RITES SATURDAY FOR MRS. GERALD HUGHES 

Mrs. Gerald Hughes, 27, a former resident of the Haxtun community, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 23, at her home in Sidney, Nebraska. 

Last rites were conducted Saturday morning at St. Patrick Church, with Rev. Father Foley officiating. Interment was in Holyoke Memorial Park. 

Mrs. Hughes, the former Pauline Janosec, was born and reared in the Haxtun community. Survivors included her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Janosec, her husband and three small children.
