MRS. GLENN HEIMER IS CALLED BY DEATH
 
Funeral Services Will Be Held Sunday Afternoon At Christian Church
 
Mrs. Glenn A. Heimer died this morning shortly before nine o’clock at the Holyoke hospital, following an operation Tuesday night for an obstruction of the bowels. She had undergone an operation for a tumor at the hospital about two weeks ago and had been discharged Friday upon her satisfactory recovery to go to the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Logan Spelts. She became ill Saturday night, however with the intestinal disorder and her incision was re-opened by a coughing spell. From Saturday night on her condition was critical and the operation Tuesday night failed to relieve her condition.
 
Mrs. Heimer was 25 years of age, having been born December 23, 1908 at David City, Nebraska. She lived with her parents at Amherst for many years and was graduated form the Holyoke high school in 1926. Afterward, she was employed for about a year in the offices of the Rocky Mountain News in Denver. She worked in the law office of Claude D. Walrod in Holyoke for some time and was in the employ of L.C. Hoover at the time of her marriage to Mr. Heimer on February 13, 1931 in Holyoke. Her maiden name was Julia Garnet Spelts.
 
Besides her husband and her parents, Mrs. Heimer is survived by two brothers, William and Richard, and numerous other relatives.
 
Mrs. Heimer was a member of the Christian church and the funeral services will be held from that church Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Rev. N.F. Horn will officiate.

FUNERAL SERVICES ARE HELD FOR MRS. HEIMER
 
Funeral services for Mrs. Glenn A. Heimer were held at the Christian church Sunday afternoon with Rev. N.F. Horn officiating. A male quartet composed of the voices of Carl Lindsay, Robert Clark, Leslie Bereman and Billie Sprague sang three numbers, “Ivory Palaces,” “Face to Face,” and “Beautiful Isle of Somewhere.” There was a profusion of
flowers, 92 families having offered their sympathy by this means.
 
A.H. Scott, R.M. Clark, Wilmer Trego, Otto Redies, Robert Ferguson and William Summers acted as pallbearers. Interment was made in the Holyoke cemetery.
 
The following are among the out-of-town relatives and friends who came to attend the funeral: Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Spelts of Litchfield, Nebraska, Mr. and Mrs. J.E. Spelts of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Spelts and Mrs. H.M. Spelts of Venango, Mr. and Mrs. George Oswald and Mrs. Evans and daughter, Ruth, of Sterling, Mr. and Mrs. John Avery of Julesburg, Mr. and Mrs. James Phillips of McCook, Nebraska, Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Heimer and Roy and John Heimer of Hebron, Nebraska, Mr. and Mrs. H.A. Debolt of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, and Miss Verneice Cox and Mr. and Mrs. F.L. Snider, and son, Paul, and daughter, Mrs. Helen Goodfellow of Denver, Mr. and Mrs. L.M. Ryman of Colby, Kansas.
