DIED, on Wednesday, October 28, at the
home of his son-in-law, Ernest Hageman, Emmons D. Ellis of this county.
He had been failing in health for some time but his death was quite a
surprise to many of his friends who had no idea that his condition was
so dangerous.
The funeral was held today from the home. He was
one of the early settlers of the county and resided on his farm in the
northern part of the county except for a short time that he made his
home in Holyoke. He had many friends in the county by whom he was highly
thought of and who sympathize with the family in their sorrow.
