FUNERAL
CONDUCTED FOR GEORGE DUBBERT
Farmer Of Holyoke Community Died At
Home Following Long Illness
Funeral services for George Dubbert,
farmer of the Holyoke community who died early Saturday at his home,
were conducted Tuesday morning at the St. Patrick church in Holyoke.
Mass was read at 10 o'clock by the rector, Rev. Francis J. Brady, and
interment was made in the Holyoke cemetery.
The late Mr. Dubbert
died at 2:15 o'clock Saturday morning at the farm home three miles
northeast of Holyoke. He had been ailing for a year, suffering with
cancer. At the time of his death, hew was 61 years, nine months and 12
days old.
George Henry Dubbert was born June 10, 1879 at Meta,
Missouri, a son of August and Elizabeth Pietz Dubbert. He was united in
marriage to Miss Katherine Linnenbrink on October 26, 1906. She preceded
him in death January 19, 1916. The marriage of Mr. Dubbert and Miss
Cecilia Trehous was performed August 21, 1917.
The deceased and
his family moved to his farm home northeast of Holyoke in 1919, and had
since resided there. He was a member of the St. Patrick church of
Holyoke.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Cecilia Dubbert, two
sons, August and Joseph Dubbert of Holyoke; two brothers, Frank Dubbert
of St. Elizabeth, Missouri and John Dubbert of Fulton, Missouri; two
sisters, Mrs. Mary Shell of St. Thomas, Missouri and Mrs. E.C. Smith of
Denver; and one grandson, Riley Dubbert. One daughter, who died in
infancy, and his parents preceded him in death.
