HOWARD BUTTERFIELD

Howard, little son of Ed and Ellen Butterfield was born
in Phillips County, Colorado, April 9, 1908, and died June 27, 1908 at
the age of 3 years 2 months and 18 days. Little Howard had an attack of
diabetes and after an illness of 3 months died. Everything in medical
aid and careful nursing was all in vain. God saw fit to take the
precious jewel to Himself to dwell with the angels. He was a lovely
child and was the joy of the home.
The funeral was held at the
Pleasant Valley church June 28, Rev. Harmon officiating and the body was
laid to rest in the Pleasant Valley cemetery. The family has the
sympathy of all in their sorrow.

opportunity to heartily thank the friends who so thoughtfully and kindly
assisted us in the last sickness and the funeral services of our little
son, Howard. - Mr. and Mrs. Ed Butterfield.
