On
Thursday evening, May 7, C.A. Bryant of Sterling, while on his way from
Sterling to Haxtun in his automobile, was killed by the turning over of
the automobile. His brother, who was in the automobile with him, escaped
injury by jumping. Mr. Bryant had recently purchased a general
merchandise store at Haxtun from M. Anderson and was on his way to
Haxtun to look after business interests. He also owned a large store in
Sterling and stood very high in business circles. He was 34 years of age
and leaves a wife and little daughter.
